We All Have Bad Days

And today is one of them :(  My day started out by being pulled over on the way to dropping my daughter off at school this morning for a totally bogus reason.  The cop who pulled me over knew it too, which is why he gave me warning and not a ticket.  There is nothing like the embarrassment of standing by the side of the road while you feel like every person in town is driving by, staring, and smirking at you.  The whole situation inspired me to come home and ink up this super cute Kraftin' Kimmie image~Lillith.  I used dp from SU Sending Love Specialty, and the fab ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and came in the May Ribbon Club pack.  If you haven't checked out the Ribbon Club~you must!  So many beautiful pieces of ribbon for a great price!!!

I made this for the All That Scraps Challenge to use Pink and Brown and I used this week's Sketch Saturday layout.  Thank you so much for stopping by, and hopefully your day is going better than mine:)

I would have driven by, pointed at you, stared, laughed *giggles* - - well, at least you got something good out of it: a cute card! Love pink and brown...and that little frog on her head is hilarious!

FAB coloring!!! I'm still jealous that you have such mad sewing skills. LOL

Hope your day got better, I hate how my heart starts racing whenever I have gotten pulled over!! Last time I was pulled over - when the cop went to his car to check my record my 3 yr old son said, "Just GO MOMMY!!!" LOL

thanks for all the love you've left on my blog ((hugs))) :)

I would not have stared at you! I make a point not to rubberneck!

Let me tell you my story so you will feel better...

Last summer, I had a dental appt. and I overslept and had to get myself and 2 kids out the door in 15 mins. I had no makeup on, my hair in a ponytail, barely got my teeth brushed, threw some clothes on the kids and did not brush their hair, teeth or feed them. Got pulled over on the way to the appointment, couldn't find my current registration (turns out my tags were like 2 months expired and I didn't realize it)and my proof of insurance was not current, the cop was a butt and thought I was a flake and I started crying. LOL My kids were traumatized because Mommy was bawling all the way to the dentist. I was just so stressed that morning and couldn't help the tears. I had to pay a $100 ticket for expired tags and spent the next 2 hours in the dentist's chair getting work done I thought he was doing in the next visit. I told the kids I wasn't crying because I got pulled over, I was crying because the morning was so awful! It was my first ticket too.

Feel better? LOL

Glad that your bad morning inspired you to make such a darling card though! I love all the pink and brown with just a pop of green!

Oh, being pulled over is just awful. I have only been pulled over twice in my whole life, but my husband gets pulled over all the time. I laugh when it happens to him, cry when it happens to me. But I'm glad you got inspiration for a fun card out of it!
