Taylored Expressions October Studio Challenge

Click HERE for my YNS Blog Hop post!

Hello! It's time for the Baker's Dozen Studio Challenge! This is a monthly opportunity for the Taylored Expressions team to share what makes our stamping studios hum. Each month we have a fun, crafty question or theme so we can share our favorites, some tips and tricks, stamping advice and more.

This is our last Studio Challenge!  Taylor is changing things up a little bit so we hope you'll enjoy our final challenge!

The theme for October is:

Never Felt Better!!
Felt is all the rage in crafting. It's so thick and soft and gives that special warm and cozy feeling to fall and winter projects. TE has 21 yummy colors to choose from, but do you ever just stare at all that felt and think, "Hmmmm...what should I do with it?"
Designers, show us a fun project featuring felt.

This was a fun challenge!  I don't often think of pulling out my felt, but I'm now inspired to use it much more often:) You can find LOTS of felt at Taylored Expressions HERE!

I decided to create a fun little winter scene.  I used some Chocolate Chip Felt and the Birch Tree Border Die to cut out my tree.  I then added the bird and birdhouse  using some Red Hot and Robin's Egg Felt along with the Birch Tree Accessories Dies.  The snowy hills were cut using Marshmallow Felt and the Build a Scene Rolling Hills Dies. Taylored Dies cut the felt so easily and you get a nice clean cut every time!  I use my Big Shot to cut my felt, and I just use the same sandwich that I use for paper cutting.

To finish off my scene, I added my new favorite snowman from the recently released stamp set~Baby, It's Cold Outside.  Isn't he ADORABLE???  I also added some snowflakes that I cut with the Make a Snowflake Dies and placed a Lily White Doodlebug Sprinkle in each center.  The sentiment from Baby It's Cold Outside was stamped onto a Banner Stacklets 1 Die.

So much fun!  To glue down my felt I used Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue which is pretty much my go to adhesive.  I use it on everything:)  Here is my supply list:
