Your Next Stamp DT Feature Day-Animal Antics!

12:00 AM 1 Comments

Hello! It's time for the YNS Feature Day and the theme is Animal Antics! So I had this little lady colored up and I asked my husband if a ladybug would be considered an animal and he said no. Well we looked it up and insects are actually part of the animal kingdom soooooo adorable ladybug it is!

The ladybug and sentiment are from the set Bugs and Kisses. I colored her up with Copic markers and cut her out with the coordinating Bugs and Kisses Die Set. I layered her over some grass cut with the YNS Stitched Grass Die and a flower cut with a Taylored Expressions Die out of some dp from the YNS Hugs and Kisses 6x6 Paper Pack.

You can see all of the DT's fun cards on the Your Next Stamp Blog and make sure you leave a comment while you're there for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set of Choice!!!

Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #91!

12:00 AM 1 Comments

Hello! It's time for a new challenge at Your Next Stamp! I used both the sketch and color challenge for my card today:

I had so much fun with this and decided to make a shaker card! I started by stamping the adorable puffer fish from the Totally Narly Stamp Set, colored it with Copic Markers and cut it out with the Totally Narly Die Set

For the background, I used the Wave Panel Die along with some blue, aqua, white, and kraft cs and cut it out with a die from the YNS Circles Die Set. I then framed the image by cutting a square and then cut a scalloped circle out of the middle using a Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables Die. I added an acetate window and then 2 layers of foam tape around the edges to make my shaker.

I adhered my fish onto my circular Waves Panel Die background along with a couple of Sparkle Gumdrops. I then added some sequins and removed the backing on my foam tape to adhere the shaker element. Instead of adding the scalloped border like in the sketch, I thought it would be fun to add some sparkly bubbles using the YNS Bubbles Die and some Stardust Stickles.

We hope you'll play along with us! Just link your creations HERE for your chance to win a YNS Store Gift Certificate!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
