MFTWSC381 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Sparke and Shine!

2:50 AM 4 Comments

I decided to use this adorable dragon from the BB Magical Dragons stamp set-so stinkin' CUTE! I colored it up with Copic Markers and cut it out with my ScanNCut2. To cut my circle I used the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables. I sponged the sun rays using the MFT Stencil Sunrise Radiating Rays and some Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink

I also cut out a cloud using a Taylored Expressions Build a Scene Rolling Clouds Die and then sponged it with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I layered them behind the circle and popped my dragon up over it with Foam Tape. I heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock using Zing! White Opaque Embossing Powder. Finally, I added some Your Next Stamp Silver Tinsel Gumdrops for my sparkle!

That's it for me! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hello! I was able to play along with the new MFTWSC380 today:

I've been anxious to color up this cutie from the new Rain or Shine stamp set:) I knew I wanted to incorporate a rainbow, so I thought having that peek from behind the circle window would be perfect!

I used the Taylored Expressions Rainbow Cutting Plate to cut my rainbow and then colored it with different shades of Distress Oxide Ink. I will leave the colors in the supply list below. I wanted a smaller sentiment and this one from the retired TE set Certified Mail Art was perfect. I adhered that behind my circle and then added my acetate window behind it so I could make a shaker card:

I used the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables for the frame around the window and the TE Grass Border and Wispy Grass Border Dies for the ground. I love how it came out!!! Thanks for stopping by!

4:42 PM 1 Comments

So I made it back up to the MFT Boutique yesterday and picked up this cutie!!! I just LOVE this sweet image from Puddle Jumper and I had to get the Rain or Shine set too, mostly because of the adorable little ducks!!!

I stamped my sentiment from Rain or Shine directly onto the clouds using my Mini Misti Tool. The sweet images were stamped with TE Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I stamped the boy twice so I could paper piece the umbrella and then cut out the colored image on the lines using my ScanNCut 2 to layer over the paper piece image. Hello! So if you saw my previous post, you saw that I got to go to the MFT Boutique this weekend! So fun! I came home with a few goodies, and had to play right away:) I made a quick and simple card for this week's sketch challenge:

My daughter and her friends picked out this Beach Bunnies Stamp Set lol.  It really is so cute!!! I already had this square sponged and ready to go on my desk, so I replaced the circle with the square, added some grass along with the darling bunny and cloud image from the Beach Bunnies set, and the balloon and flowers from the BB Adorable Elephants Stamp Set. The dp is Doodlebug Designs Cream & Sugar.

MFT Color Challenge #89!

4:20 PM 0 Comments

Hello! So check out where I went this weekend:

Can you believe I live 40 minutes from the MFT Boutique!!! I've known this, but since I was on the Taylored Expressions DT for so long I was pretty much only using TE supplies. This weekend I told my hubby I really wanted to check out the MFT Boutique and now I am a total addict!!! I was like a kid in a candy store in there! The store is absolutely beautiful and I wanted to take every single thing home with me. Needless to say I will be back often:)

Now that I have some MFT goodies, and I'm all signed up for newsletters and challenges and promotions, etc. I wanted to play along with the current color challenge!

I used the ADORABLE BB Magical Dragons Stamp Set, along with the Small Brick Wall Stencil to create my card. I colored the images with Copic Markers and cut them out with my ScanNCut 2. I added the grass using the TE Wispy Grass Border Die and the clouds using a TE Build a Scene Rolling Clouds Die. Finally I added a few Doodlebug Tangerine Sprinkles. So super CUTE!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful evening:)
