Perfect Presentation New Release!

ACK!  Can I just tell you how much I LOOOOVE this new template by Leigh Ann Baird called Hey Cupcake!!!  It is soooo perfect and easy to put together!!!  I'm telling you, Leigh Ann's templates are flawless!  Of course, I didn't have any cupcakes around, but I did have this yummy chocolate chip muffin (which is even better in my honest opinion : )  The template comes with this perfect little insert that will hold your cupcake (or muffin : ) in place inside your box.  How cool is that!?!  She also added the mats for the top part of the box, so it's super easy to decorate with your dp.  I can't wait to make more of these!!!

I also made a little box using the Able Gable template.  Another super easy and flawless template!!!  This is actually a pretty roomy little box, so the options are endless!  I think I will fill mine with some Valentine goodies for the teachers : )

All templates can be found in The Wild Flower Patch Shop!  Now go check out the rest of the DT so you can see the 3 other templates that are available today!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

My First Product Focus Review!

Hello!  I was soooo excited to be asked to be on the Product Focus Team for Splitcoast this year!  Our first product is Flower Soft Ultra Fine and you can see the full review HEREI made 4 projects with this awesome product:

This is a stamp from the Flower Soft Moments in Time series called Best Friends.  Love it!!!  I used some Sage FSUF on the grass and I just love the texture it adds!  The dp is October Afternoon Farm Fresh.

For this card I used this adorable Whiff of Joy image Willow with Flower Basket.  I added some Strawberry FSUF to the flowers in her basket, in her hair, and to the heart.  So fun!  DP is PTI's Simple Valentine.

For this card I used the Your Next Stamp set Happy Days Mermaid.  Isn't she precious!?!  I added some Sand FSUF to outline my sandy hills, and some Strawberry FSUF to her swimsuit top and flower in her hair : )

My final project uses this super cute set from The Greeting Farm called Oh Baby.  I added some FSUF to the baby's bonnet and the teddy's belly : )  DP is Basic Grey Lemonade.

If you have any questions about these cards just let me know!  I don't have time to fill out the complete recipes right away.  Thank you so much for stopping by and check back tomorrow to see some new templates from Perfect Presentation!

Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop!!!

If you are looking for the Divine Divas Inspiration Challenge please see the next post ; )

Hello!  Welcome to the Your Next Stamp Blog Hop!!!  Hopefully you arrived here from Cabio's awesome blog, but if not, go back to the beginning which is Karen's blog!  Make sure you make it through the entire hop, because you will see how you can win the ENTIRE new release at the end!!!

I had the chance to play with the super fun Rock Star Fhiona set!

I made a little gift set consisting of a gift card holder, and a little box using the AWESOME Bag it Up template from Leigh Ann Baird

Here is a close up of the gift card holder.  I used the Fhiona, guitar, flower, and sentiment images from the set on the outside.

On the inside I used the music notes and microphone images.  So fun!

On the box, I used the other sentiment that comes with this set, as well as the hearts.  So many fabulous images!!!  I was totally inspired by the black, white, and hot pink color combo, so I made a big hairbow to go in my gift box : )

Make sure you check out the Your Next Stamp Store because there is a HUGE sale going on now!!!

As for a favorite concert memory, it would have to be when my hubby and I were newly dating and we went to a huge 4 day concert series outside of Grand Junction, Colorado called Country Jam!  I really started to fall in love with my husband during that time, and we truly just had a blast with each other and several of our friends : )  Unfortunately I don't have any pics because it was before I had a digital camera, and I don't have a scanner :(  I don't think I would want to put a picture of me like that out in blog land anyway LOL!

Now hop on over to the amazing Guest Starlet Lori's blog!  Thank you so much for stopping by!

More Verve-y Goodness : )

Hello!  I know I said I would post these yesterday, but I have been so consumed with trying to figure out where to send my soon to be kindergartener to school next year!  Unfortunately we are not zoned for a very good school : (  We didn't think it was a big deal because we thought we would be out of this house by the time Avery was starting elementary school, but we also didn't know that the housing market would crash and burn like it has!  Soooo here we are and I have been doing a ton of research trying to weigh our options.  I will probably continue to be stressed for the next 2-3 months until we figure it out!

Anywho...I have a couple more cards to show you that I posted for the Verve release week challenges.  This first one was a color challenge to use Gray, Black, and Turquoise.  Awesome color combo, huh?  I used this fabulous set called Thankful Accents and the dp is My Mind's Eye Andrea Victoria.

My next card was for the shaped card challenge.  I used the Verve set Hundred Hearts for the hearts, and Hearts on Fire for the sentiment.  After seeing somebody else use these Label 8 Nestabilities to make a shaped card, I noticed they chopped off the top so that it was a straight edge, and I think it looked much better than how I did it, so I would recommend that if you try it : )

Come back tomorrow to check out the new Your Next Stamp Challenge and to see my YNS creation, then on Thursday we will show off the new releases with the Your Next Stamp Blog Hop!!!  There is still time to enter the Blinkie Contest.  See THIS POST for the deets!

Perfect Presentation~Bag It Up!

Hello!  Last week I told you about these awesome new templates that the fabulous Leigh Ann Baird~Stamping with Annie B~started creating.  Well, she asked if I would like to be on her DT!  Of course I said YES, because the 5 templates she has available now are all SPECTACULAR!!!  Today I get to introduce you to one of her new templates called Bag It Up!  This little bag was so fun and easy to put together, that I had to make two of them : )

The size is just right for a little treat.  Some candy hearts would fit perfectly in this Valentine bag : )  I used some PTI Raspberry Fizz cs and Simple Valentine dp.  The sentiment comes from the Verve set Hearts on Fire, and the cupid is a digital image from All That Scraps~Hey Cupid.

For my second bag I used SU Soft Sky cs, and Basic Grey Nook & Pantry dp.  The cupcake is from the Verve set Cupcake Affair and the sentiment is from Verve's Thankful Accents.  So CUTE!  If you would like to see more of these adorable templates, check out what the rest of the DT created:

Hello!  Sorry I have been MIA!  Time just got away from me these past few days.  I've been trying to organize my office/stamp room a little bit~although I still have a LONG way to go :)  Well, it's time for another YNS Challenge and our host is the fabulous Starlet Maylee who asked us to use embossing on our projects.  You can use dry embossing or heat embossing or both!  I almost always use dry embossing on my cards.  I just love the texture it adds!  I decided to step outside my comfort zone and heat emboss the sentiment as well :)  I used this ADORABLE image from the Shopper Fhiona set~LOVE HER!!!  The sentiment comes from Verve's Hearts on Fire set and the dp is Papertrey Ink.

I hope you'll play along with us!  The winner by random.org will receive $10 towards any YNS stamps and the special winner blinkie.

The top pick winner (Maylee's favorite card) will receive $5.00 towards any YNS stamps and the special top pick blinkie.  You must use YNS stamps to be considered for the Top Pick blinkie :)
