A Couple of SCS Challenges

First I just want to let everybody know that Your Next Stamp is having a 15% off sale on stamps through Sunday!!!
I was able to play in a couple of Splitcoast challenges this week : )  I made this card for the Sketch challenge on Wednesday.  I used this super adorable image from Stamping Bella called Pookie Lollipop, and paired her with some Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety DP.

I made this basket today for the Free For All Challenge to make a basket, or use a basket image.  I decided to make another one of these adorable Spring Baskets from Perfect Presentation.  I used the Martha Stewart Grass Punch and the egg image is from the $1.00 bin at Michaels.  The sentiment is from the Your Next Stamp set Fhiona's Easter Basket and dp from Melissa Frances.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!  We have a soccer game in the morning, a fundraiser/gala for my oldest son's school tomorrow night, and on Sunday I'm taking my daughter on a mother/daughter excursion to a show in Tampa.  She loves horses so I thought it would be fun to take her to a Cirque de Sol (is that how you spell it?) type show called Cavalia.  We're both really excited!!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Eggstra Special Spring Basket!

Is this basket CUTE or what!?!  This is the new Spring Basket Template from Perfect Presentation!  Leigh Ann also designed a picket fence that you can put around the entire basket for a totally different look!  You can see her version of that here

I also love this basket image from Your Next Stamp!  This is from the set Eggstra Special Basket, and it contains 3 stamps~the basket image, the eggs, and a sentiment which says "you're eggstra special"  I think I need to make a coordinating card and include the sentiment on there : )  I added some Sage Ultra Fine Flower Soft inside the basket~but it's hard to see.  I then cut out the eggs and popped them up.  I also stamped the basket image again, and cut out the bow to give it dimension.  Doesn't it fit perfectly on this darling template!?  I had so much fun making this~can you tell LOL!  Ok, I'm off to work on a card, but I couldn't wait to show you this basket!  Have a wonderful day!

On Friday I played along with the Verve Spring Fling Challenges.  I was able to complete 4 of the 5 of them:
I made this for the Sketch Challenge.  I used the frame from the Verve set Accent Notes, and the sentiment is from Verve's Thankful Accents.  DP is from the DCWV Flower Shower Spring Matstack.

This was for a Color Challenge to use brown, green, and yellow.  I used PTI Dark Chocolate, SU Old Olive, and dp from Basic Grey Nook & Pantry.  The stamps are Verve Psalm 121:1-2 and Enjoy.

This was for the Tag Challenge.  I used this adorable bloom from the Verve set Miracles Blossom, and the sentiment is from Wonderful Wishes.  I used the Martha Stewart Grass Border Punch for the grass and dp from the DCWV Flower Shower Spring Matstack.

And finally, this is for the CAS challenge to use Flowers.  I don't know how CAS this is, but it's what I came up with : )  I once again used dp from the DCWV Flower Shower Spring Matstack, and the Verve sets Grateful Elegance and Wishing You.  Hopefully I can complete Challenge #5 tomorrow!  Have a wonderful evening, and thank you for stopping by!!!

Your Next Stamp has some new images that are perfect for Mother's Day and Easter!  I made a gift set for my mom using Flower Bouquet Fhiona:

Isn't she soooo SWEET!!!  My mom's favorite color is yellow, so I thought this dp from Making Memories was perfect : )

For my card, I colored Fhiona with Copics and cut her out with Circle and Blossom Nestabilities.  The flowers were punched with my EK Success Flower Punches~LOVE those things~and the ribbon is PTI Berry Sorbet.

The box is a template from Leigh Ann Baird (Perfect Presentation) called Hey Cupcake!  I added the sentiment also from the Flower Bouquet Fhiona set, and a big bloom that I cut with a Sizzix Bigz Die~Build a Flower #2.  I'm not going to tell you what's going to go inside this box, because my mom will probably read this post ;)

I know you want to win some prizes!!!  To be eligible, just leave a comment on all the Starlets blogs, then link your name to Mr. Linky at the end of the hop.  You'll have a second chance to win if you play along with this week's challenge~to use a big bow~and a third chance to win if you use YNS stamps!!!
