Color Throwdown #180~Easter Blessings

Hello!  It's time for another Color Throwdown and this week the awesome Lori Tecler is our hostess!  I just love the color combo she chose, but I have to say, I'm a little embarrassed to share my project :(

I don't know if it's the horrible picture, or the fact that the tag looks way too small for the carrot, or what, but I am not happy with the way this came out.

I've been a little obsessed lately and maybe my fellow paper crafters can relate.  One of my very best friends is pregnant, and I am hosting a baby shower for her~YAY!  Now grant it, the shower won't be until late June, and she won't even know the sex of the baby for another month, but I came up with a theme that I am sooooo excited about!  I am going to do a Grown With Love theme and go with the whole rustic garden idea.  I have SO MANY IDEAS in my head, and I can't stop thinking about it.  Do any of you get this way???  I can't even really get started until I know whether to go with the blues and greens, or the pinks, etc. but I have been making lists upon lists, and searching the stores for garden type decor.

Anywho, onto my carrot.  I was looking for a carrot box template thinking it would be a fun favor idea, and came across this one in the Silhouette Online Store by Lori Witlock.  I really love the box, but I have issues with the amount of tic marks, plus I definitely need to come up with a better way to dress it up.  I ran out of time tonight, but I will try again another day.  Trust me~I'm obsessed LOL!

Make sure you check out the Color Throwdown Blog for some much better inspiration this week and to play along!  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Are you surprised to see this on my blog?  So not my style, right?  I LOVE CAS design, but I'm just not very good at it, however, this is the idea that popped in my head when I saw Melissa Bickford's free image today.  I cut out all the postage stamp letters and popped them up over a heart cut out of Soft Stone cs with my Heart Nestabilities.  The "You" comes from the PTI set All About You Additions.

I'll be back in just a moment with another PTI project:)  Thanks for stopping by!

YNS Fun Friday~Way to Go!

Hello!  I'm running late with my post again today.  My 4 year old started running  a high fever yesterday, so I was trying to take care of him, and spaced typing up my post.  He's still running a fever, but I keep alternating Tylenol and Motrin which is keeping it under control.  I just hate it when little ones are sick!

I have this card on the Your Next Stamp Blog today for Fun Friday!  I used this adorable image called Baseball Boy and some Authentique Free Bird dp.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Make sure you check out the YNS Blog to see some other fabulous projects!  All of the cuteness will definitely make you smile:)

I hope you have a wonderful Friday.  I'll be home with my sick little man,  but it gives me a chance to work on some projects for all the new releases coming up next week!  Thanks for stopping by:)

Hello!  Sorry I didn't post last weekend like I promised.  We ended up having a pretty busy weekend and I've been working on some DT projects.  Trust me, this blog is going to be hopping next week with tons of new releases!!!

I am the hostess this week on the Color Throwdown Blog, and I decided to go with some Valentine colors.  I found a fun file in the Silhouette Online Store called 1 bag Topper Kit  Valentine by Lori Whitlock which I used as my base:

I cut the toppers out in 3 colors of cardstock, added a strip of Echo Park Paper Co. Be Mine dp, some ribbon and this adorable Gingersnap image from the C.C. Designs set Hey Cupid!  The toppers fit a Ziploc brand sandwich bag perfectly!  I think I'm going to give these to Landon's 3 teachers for V day:)  Here's a close up:
