Taylored Expressions Share Joy 2015-Thinking of You

The Taylored Expressions Share Joy Campaign is proud to partner with the Spiritual Care Department of the Unity Point Health System in Des Moines. In the course of their work providing support to families whose loved ones pass away while in their care, the Spiritual Care team discovered that sending cards to families significantly improves their ability to grieve in healthy ways. Words of love and encouragement make a deep impact when they come on a hand-crafted card, so to assist the Spiritual Care team in their work we will be providing them with cards to send in the months and years ahead!

I made this card for the Share Joy campaign using the beautiful Posh Posies stamp set and a coordinating Posh Vases Die. I stamped two of the floral images with olive ink onto some Sugar Cube cs and then embossed with the Dotted Lattice Embossing Folder. I then stamped the flowers with rose and yellow colored inks, cut them out, and popped them up over the olive stamped images. The dp I used is Simple Stories I Am. I cut the vase out of this dp as well. The butterfly was stamped from the Butterfly Parade stamp set. I used the sketch that Jen created for this wonderful cause which you can read more about HERE!

We hope you'll join us by creating some wonderful Thinking of You themed cards for this campaign! You can even win prizes by sending in cards! You can read all about how to donate to this wonderful cause HERE:)

Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!

Taylored Expressions Die Focus: Damask Flourishes!

Hello! I have a card to share with you today using some more fab Taylored Expressions products:) For the focal point, I used the beautiful Damask Flourishes Dies. I cut them out of some Simple Stories I Am dp which is the same dp I used for the whole card. The sentiment was stamped from the Going to the Chapel Stamp and Die Combo onto a panel cut with the Band It Dies. I added some rhinestones and a border using the Small Scallop Border Die. Sweet and simple! The layout is the Deconstructed Sketch #192.

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure you stop by the Taylored Expressions Blog to read about the new Share Joy campaign! I'll be back Wednesday to share the card I made. Such a wonderful cause! Have a great day!

St. Patrick's Day Taylored Expressions Gift Set!

Hello and Happy St. Patrick's Day! I wanted to share a cute little treat bag and card combo I made using some fab Taylored Expressions supplies:) I was inspired by This Awesome Creation that I found on the TE Pinterest St. Paddy's Day Board by Wanda Guess:

I started off by making this adorable little treat bag using the Sack it to You Die and the Sack It - Leprechaun Dies. I used some Peapod ,Oreo, Chocolate Truffle, and Metallic Neutral cs from Taylored Expressions along with a few other colors in my stash. I also used the Burlap Embossing Folder to emboss the hat and the pipe.

For my card I used the Graphic Greetings St. Paddy's Day stamp. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black, and then stamped it again with olive ink and cut out the "lucky". I popped it up with foam tape. I used Copics to color the clover and the "17". I cut the entire sentiment out with a TE Label Stacklets 8 Die and layered it over a black panel that I embossed with the TE Burlap Embossing Folder. I cut the border out of TE Metallic Neutral cs using the Small Scallop Border Die and then layered everything over some Peapod cs embossed with the TE Lots of Dots EF. This was a fun set to create!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful St. Paddy's Day!
