Taylored Expressions March Technique: Shaker Card!

Hello! This month the TE Baker's Dozen was challenged to create a shaker card! I decided to use the fabulous Up, Up, & Away Cutting Plate to create my shaker. I started by using the die to cut a piece of Blue Corn cs. I then glued that onto a piece of acrylic cut the same size, and then added some Foam Tape pieces all along the perimeter:

I added some TE sequins and some confetti that I cut with the Little Bits Celebration Confetti Die. I then added a piece of Echo Park Anything Goes dp as my back.

I used the included dies that come with the Up, Up, & Away Cutting Plate to cut the different colored balloons. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from In & Out Birthday onto a Stitched Banner Stacklet Die and adhered it to the card front. So fun!

Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my shaker! Have a wonderful Wednesday:)

TE Release Day-It's a Boy!

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions, which means that all of the new products are available NOW in the TE Store!

For my final project this week, I made another fun baby tag using the awesome new Tag Stacklets 3 Dies, along with the super fun new Baby Bottle Shaker Dies! I cut my base using a Tag Stacklets 3 out of some TE Double the Joy dp. I then put my bottle shaker together using Sugar Cube and Potato Chip cs. I filled my shaker with Double the Joy Sequins and some adorable shapes cut with the Little Bits-Baby Confetti Die

The sentiment is from the set Little Bits of Baby and it was cut out with a Stitched Banner Stacklet Die. I just love playing with all these fun products, and I know you will too!

Thanks for stopping by today! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers:) Happy Shopping!

TE Sneak Peeks: Welcome Baby

Hello! It's Day 3 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions, and all of the new products will be available on Thursday, March 3rd at 7 AM PST!

For my first project today, I created a couple of sweet gift tags using the new Tag Stacklets 3 Dies and the new Little Bits-Teddy Bear and Little Bits-Rocking Horse

I cut the base of my teddy bear tag out of Toffee cs using one of the Tag Stacklets 3 Dies. I then added a couple layers of  Echo Park dp that I cut with the Stitched Circle Stacklet Dies. The Little Bits-Teddy Bear was cut using Toffee, Chocolate Truffle, and Strawberry Milkshake cs. I added the little eyes using the fine point of a marker. The little sentiment tag was cut using a Designer Mini Tag and I stamped a sentiment from the new set Let's Talk Sentiments. So cute!

For my next tag I did the same thing, except I used Chocolate Truffle cs for the base:)  Here are the supplies I used for these tags:

For my next project I made a sweet card using the new Build a Scene-Nursery Dies! Oh my goodness, how fun are these?! I used dp to create my wall and floor and then added the sweet Rocking Chair, Crib, Rug, and Lamp all included in this die set:)

I cut the Rocking Chair, Lamp Shade, and Crib out of dp and the rug out of Sprinkles, Strawberry Milkshake, and Granny Smith cs. The "Welcome" banner was cut using the new Welcome Baby Banner Dies and the "little one" was stamped using the Little Bits of Baby stamp set. The scene was framed using Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. Here is my supply list:
