Taylored Expressions April Technique-Felt!

Hello! This month the TE designers were challenged to use Taylored Felt on our projects! I just LOVE all the beautiful colors of felt that Taylor carries, and it cuts so nicely with TE Dies!

For my card, I chose to use some Ocean and Blueberry Felt along with the Build a Scene Rolling Waves Dies to create my ocean. I then used some Khaki Felt and a Build a Scene Rolling Hills Die for the beach, and finally, some Espresso Felt and the Beach Border Die for the beach scene.

I "painted" the sunset using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and stamped a sentiment from the Coconut Cove stamp set. Super simple!

I hope this inspires you to pull out your felt! Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful Wednesday!

TE Release Day-Finally!

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions, which means that all of the new products are available NOW in the TE Store!!!

For my final project this week, I used the super fun new set-Grad Grumplings Stamp and Die Combo! I stamped this hilarious image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it up with Foam Tape over a circle cut with a Stitched Circle Stacklet. I also used a Stitched Banner Stacklet Die and a couple of Stitched Rectangle Stacklets Dies. I just adore the Stitched Stacklets LOL!!!

I used some Echo Park All About a Boy dp and the base of the card is Cherry Pop cs.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers! Happy Shopping!

TE Sneak Peeks: You Can Do It!

Hello! It's Day 3 of Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, April 7th at 7AM PST!

For my first project today, I created a cool little bookmark for my son:) I used the fun new Sky High Rocket Dies to put my rocket together, and a fab sentiment from the Sky High Sentiments set. I cut my base using the new Build a Bookmark Die and the Mark Your Spot Bookmark Die. I cut my layers using Cherry Pop and Blue Corn cs. I then embossed the sentiment using VersaMark Ink and some Zing! White Opaque Embossing Powder. The stars were cutting using the Shining Star Cutting Plate out of Lemon Meringue cs.

For my next project I made a fun grad party invite:

I started by cutting out the frame using a new Picture Perfect-Celebrate Die out of Oreo cs. I then cut out the excited grads using the new Eventful-Graduation Border Die. I added some dp behind the grads and then stamped a sentiment from the Eventful-Graduation stamp set onto some Sugar Cube cs and cut it out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die. Here's a look at the inside:

I used the RSVP stamp and then added the fun diploma using the new Little Bits-Diploma Die. So easy which makes it great for replication!
