Your Next Stamp September Release Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Your Next Stamp September new release blog hop! I LOVE Halloween and all things fall and had so much fun playing with the new stamps and dies!

For my first project I used the ADORABLE new Trick or Treat stamp set to make a fun card and tag!

For my card, I also used the fun new Wonky Door Die which is just perfect for creating a trick or treat scene!

One side is embossed to act like a hinge so the door opens! I also used the new Grass Tufts Die and some of the new Sparkly Gumdrops!

For my tag I used more adorable images from Trick or Treat along with the new Halloween Words Die Set and the Grass Tufts Die. The tag base was cut with a Cool Tag Four Die. I will leave a full supply list below.

For my next card, I used the super sweet new Autumn Wreaths Stamp Set and the new Falling Leaves Panel Die. I stamped my wreath with Black Olive Ink, colored with Copics and cut it out with the Autumn Wreaths Die Set. I popped it up with foam tape over my Kraft panel and then stamped a sentiment from the set in the center.

I layered some white cs underneath my leaf panel that I sponged with Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, and Fired Brick Distress Oxide Ink. I finished it off with some twine and a couple of Candy Corn Gumdrops.

Your Next Stamp September Release Preview!

Hello! It's preview day at Your Next Stamp! We have a few projects to share with you today, and all of the new products will be available tomorrow, September 13th at 11 AM EST! To see the full list of blogs that have a preview, head over to the YNS Blog!

For my card today, I used the new Ghoul-Tastic Halloween stamp set and dies along with the new Halloween Words Die Set. Love them both!!! The images in GhoulTastic Halloween set are so fun! I chose the cute witch and skeleton for my card, stamped them with Black Olive Ink and colored with Copics.

For my background, I sponged the sky using Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink. I then used some white watercolor paint for the stars. I added some grass using the Stitched Grass Die and the fence and tree using the Spooky Halloween Scene Die Set. I was having so much fun, I even decorated the inside with another fun image from the Ghoul-Tastic Halloween set:

Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #97!

Hello! I wanted to share the card I made for the current YNS Challenge #97! I used both the sketch and colors for my card today:

I started by stamping my bee from the Bugs & Kisses Stamp Set with YNS Black Olive Ink and coloring with Copic Markers. I then cut him out with the coordinating Bugs & Kisses Die. I used some watercolors to splatter my background and then adhered the honeycomb cut with the YNS Honeycomb Die Set. I heat embossed the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape.

For the honey drip at the top of the card, I used the YNS Honey Drip and Honeycomb Combo Die Set. I cut a piece of cs and then used that as my pattern to stencil the honey drip using Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink. Finally, I added some Lavender Gumdrops and it was complete!

Taylored Expressions 10th Birthday Blog Hop!

Hello! I'm super excited to be part of this TE designer reunion blog hop today to help TE celebrate 10 years!!! I spent 5 years on the TE design team, so TE was definitely a big part of my life for a long time:) You can head over to Taylor's Blog to see a full list of participants which includes almost 40 designers!

There were some new products released last night which you can find HERE but today we are showcasing some older products that are still so much fun!

I chose to use the adorable Monkey Business Stamp & Die Combo for my fun images. I stamped them with TE Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers.

To create my scene, I started by using the TE Mosaic Leaves Stencil to sponge the background. I used Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, and Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink to obtain the different shades. I then used the TE Build a Scene Tropical Dies for my palm trees, and the TE Wispy Grass Border Die for the ground. So cute!

YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #96!

Hello! I wanted to share the card I made for the YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #96! I once again used both the colors and the sketch for my card today:

I used the ADORABLE Autumn Animals Stamp Set because I was inspired by the apples in the inspiration photo, and this cutie is holding an apple! I stamped him with Black Olive Ink and colored with Copics. I don't have the coordinating dies, so I stamped the stump directly onto my square panel, and then stamped it again on a separate piece of cs and cut out the trunk image only so I could pop it up with my raccoon. I cut the raccoon out with my Scan N Cut 2.

I used various dp for the background and then added some Rainbow Sparkle Gumdrops to complete! Very simple! I will leave a complete supply list below.

Your Next Stamp August Feature Day-Monochromatic Cards!

Hello! It's time for the YNS Feature Day and this month we were challenged to make a monochromatic card! I decided to use one of my favorite sets-Totally Narly and stuck to the blue color family.

I started by sponging my background using the Bubbly Stencil from Taylored Expressions. I then used the Your Next Stamp Wave Panel Die to cut a piece of navy card stock and layered that over my bubbles. I stamped two of the adorable creatures from Totally Narly with Black Olive Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I then cut them out with the Totally Narly Die Set. I replaced one of the panels from the Wave Panel Die and heat embossed the sentiment using VersaMark and Zing! White Embossing Powder. Finally, I added a few Rainbow Sparkle Gumdrops and it was complete!

For my first project, I made a birthday card using the adorable new Sweet Treat Cart Stamp Set! I just adore this super cute bunny! There are two fun carts in this set, 3 bunny images, and several different treats that you can add to the carts! I cut my images out with the coordinating Sweet Treat Cart Dies and layered them over a circle that I cut with the Circles Die Set. The background was cut with the fun new Confetti Panel Die-LOVE! I adore the stitched detail and it's just the perfect backdrop for celebration cards!

For my next project I used the fab new Gift Card Holder Die along with the new Popcorn Party Stamp Set! I love to give gift cards, and these dies are perfect to quickly put together fun packaging for your gift! It also comes with 3 different die cut sentiments! I colored up my adorable image with Copic Markers and cut her out with the coordinating Popcorn Party Die. I stamped a sentiment from the set directly on the panel and then die cut the "enjoy" sentiment to adhere below. I finished it off with some new Rainbow Sparkle Gumdrops!

Your Next Stamp August New Release Preview!

Hello! It's almost time for some new products at Your Next Stamp! We have a few previews to share with you today, and all of the new products will be available tonight at 10pm EST! To see the full list of blogs that have a preview, head over to the YNS Blog!

For my preview project, I used the newest monster addition-Monster Cheers! I was super excited to use this image because my daughter does All Star Cheerleading:) I decided to make a stage like setting and sponged a spotlight in the background. I used the YNS Fancy Double Scallop Edge Die to make the top "curtain".

I stamped my image with Black Olive Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I then cut her out with the coordinating Monster Cheers Die. I added some stars and some new Rainbow Sparkle Gumdrops to my scene. Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment using Zing! Opaque White Embossing Powder. So fun and perfect for all those fab cheerleaders out there!

Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #95!

Hello! I wanted to share the card I made for the current Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #95! I used both the sketch and colors for my card today:

I used the adorable Funny Farm Crew Stamp Set for my images. I stamped them with Black Olive Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I added a little die cut flower to the sheep and used a Vintage Holiday Gumdrop for the center.

I cut an oval out of some dp that looks like a weathered fence and then added the grass cut with the Stitched Grass Die. I used dp from the MFT Tiny Check Paper Pack for the background, and then heat embossed my sentiment directly onto the dp.

Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #94!

Hello! I have a card to share that I made for the current YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #94! I used both the fab sketch and color combo for my card:

I LOOOOVE those poppies!!! I wish poppies grew well in Florida, but we just got back from a vacation in Colorado and I saw so many poppies like the ones in the picture-GORGEOUS!

For my card, I used the ADORABLE Woodland Jessica Stamp Set for my sweet images, and I cut them out with the coordinating Woodland Jessica Die Set. I colored my images with Copic Markers, and used a Copic to color some light blue behind Jessica.

I cut the grass out using the YNS Stitched Grass Die and added some scrap pieces of paper to the top of my card. The gingham paper comes from the YNS Hugs and Kisses 6x6 Paper Pack. Finally, I stamped my sentiment from the set and then added some Watermelon Party Sparkly Gumdrops to finish it off. So sweet and simple!

Your Next Stamp Feature Day-Christmas in July!

Hello! It's July Feature Day on the Your Next Stamp Blog and this month is all about Christmas in July!

I used the adorable Merry Chris-Moose Stamp Set for my image, and for the background I used the Wave Panel Die Set along with the Tree Trio Die Set. I cut the "frame" of the Wave Panel Die Set out of some white cs and then inserted the panels cut out some shimmer white cs. I heat embossed the sentiment and added some snowflakes with sparkle gumdrop centers using Crystal Clear and Sparkle Gumdrops.

Your Next Stamp DT Dare-Pop it Up!

Hello! It's time for another Design Team Dare at Your Next Stamp, and this month we were challenged to Pop it Up! You can check out everyone's cards and leave a comment to win a Stamp Set of Your Choice on the Your Next Stamp Blog HERE!

I decided to make a fun box card and used the adorable new Honey Bee stamp set along with the coordinating Honey Bee Die Set to decorate it. The box was cut out using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop Up Die. I sponged the background with Ranger Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to make my sky and then added the tree branch, hive, and bee image by popping them up with foam tape.

I added the grass cut with the Stitched Grass Die and then the super sweet sunflower images. Finally, for the front and side panels, I cut the dripping honey using the new Honey Drip and Honeycomb Combo Die Set along with some dp from the Hugs and Kisses 6x6 Paper Pack. I just adore this set and all of the fun dies that you can use with it!
