Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks: Pizza My Heart and Little Bits French Fries!

10:00 AM 2 Comments

Hello! It's Day 1 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions and all of the new products will be available on Thursday, December 10th at 7 AM PST!

For my first project, I made a darling tag using the new set Pizza My Heart Stamp and Die Combo! This set is so fun and contains 3 food images with coordinating dies, along with some fun coordinating sentiments!

I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics to match my Starbucks cup:). I cut it out with the included die and used the Build a Tag 2 Die set to cut my tag layers. I used Toffee cs for the tag base and embossed it with the new Swiss Hearts Embossing Folder. I cut the frame out of Cherry Pop cs and then stamped the sentiment onto a Sugar Cube cs layer. The heart die is included in the Build a Tag 2 Die Set and I cut that out of Peapod cs and sponged around it with a darker green. Finally, I added my darling latte and tied it onto my cup. Such a fun little treat for someone special!

For my next project, I made a fun card for that hamburger/fries lover in your life:) I used the previously released Little Bits Hamburger Dies to put together the burger and then used the new Little Bits French Fries Dies to add the fries-perfect combo!

I layered them over a heart cut with the new Stitched Heart Stacklets and embossed with the new Swiss Hearts Embossing Folder. The darling banner was cut with the new Love and Be Mine Banners out of Potato Chip cs. Here's a look at the inside:

Love this sentiment! This is from the new We Go Together Stamp Set and I cut it out with another Stitched Heart Stacklets Die. Super simple and fun!

Taylored Epressions: Give Thanks!

9:00 AM 1 Comments

Hello! The Baker's Dozen was challenged to create a card this month using Paper Piecing! I always love the look of paper piecing and it gives me a chance to use my beloved dp :)

I chose to use this darling stamp-You've Got Mail-Fall for my card today. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto some Sugar Cube cs, and then paper pieced it using TE Build a Scene dp and some TE Build a Scene Halloween dp. I also used some Earl Grey and Watermelon cs

I added the grass using the Wispy Grass Border Die and some Peapod cs. I cut the image out using the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and popped it up using foam tape. The Toffee background was embossed with the Scattered Leaves Embossing Folder and the sentiment is from the Peek-a-Boo Pumpkins Stamp Set. Such a fun technique!

That's it for me today:) Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your hump day!

Taylored Expressions November Release Day: Little Bits Mixer

10:00 AM 2 Comments

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions which means that all of the new products you've seen over the past few days are now available in the TE Store!

For my final project today, I used several new products. I started by using the new Basketweave Cutting Plate to create my base-LOVE! What a cool look! I then used the new Stitched Banner Stacklets to cut a piece of Echo Park Simple Life dp. I added the square and circle panels using the new Stitched Square Stacklets and the previously released Stitched Circle Stacklets. I embossed the circle with the new On the Spot Embossing Folder and then added the darling Little Bits Mixer as my focal point. I used the Stitched Banner Stacklets once again for the sentiment which comes from the Life is a Kitchen Stamp Set. Finally, I added the sweet border using the Lace Chain Border Die and finished it off with some red pearls. I love the vintage feel of this card:)

Thanks for stopping by today! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers! Happy Shopping:)
