Hello! I can't believe it's almost September and fall is right around the corner! I just love this time of year:)
This is an exciting month because we are celebrating Taylored Expressions 8th Birthday!!! Happy Birthday, TE! I still feel so honored to be part of this amazing team! We're kicking off sneak peeks today and all of the new products will be available on Thursday, September 1st at 7AM PST in the TE Store!
I used the fun new Make a Wish Stamp and Die Combo to create a couple of CAS cards for my first couple of projects today. I stamped the polka dot candle using Lollipop and Lemon Meringue Ink and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I layered it over some TE Hello Happiness dp framed with a Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 die cut and then used the Skinny Mini Party Borders to create the streamers behind the candle.
On the inside, I mimicked the streamers on the outside using the new Party Streamers Stamp Set along with some new Mint Julep and Pink Champagne Ink, as well as some Lollipop Ink. The sentiment comes from the Make a Wish set and I stamped it with some Oreo Ink. I cut it out and framed it with some dies from the Build a Tag 2 Die Set.
For my second card, I stamped the various candles using Granny Smith, Cookie Monster, Lollipop, Candy Corn, and Pink Champagne and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I popped them up over a Sugar Cube panel embossed with the new Confetti Embossing Folder. I then added more banners using the Skinny Mini Party Borders once again, along with some Lollipop and Cookie Monster cs.
On the inside I used a sentiment from the new Bright Birthday Stamp Set.
For my final card today, I used one of the new Birthday Watercolor Panels. I just love these fun panels, and they are perfect for using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!
I actually used 2 of the panels so I could cut out the cake and the "WISH" and pop them up with foam tape. The dp is more TE Hello Happiness and I used some Cookie Monster cs for the base.
