TE Sneak Peeks: Santa Auditions and Crafty Points Giveaway!

Hello! It's Day 1 of Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions, and this month is all about Holiday crafting! The new products will be available on Thursday, October 6th at 7AM PST!

For my first card today, I used the adorable new stamp set Santa's Helpers. One of the sentiments in the set is "Santa Auditions", so I decided to create a little stage for these cuties using the Center Stage Cutting Plate Dies along with some dp from the Playful Patterns-Holiday 6x6 Paper Pack. The floor of the stage was created using some Toffee cs and the fab new Woodgrain Background Stamp! 

I stamped my Santa hopefuls using Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I then cut them out with the coordinating Santa's Helpers Dies and popped them up with foam tape over my scene. The white bg was embossed with the new Plaid Embossing Folder and the sentiment was cut out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die. Here's a close up:


So cute! 

For my next card I used another adorable set that was previously released called Deck the Halls along with the new coordinating Deck the Halls Dies!

 

I stamped my images with Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I cut them out with the new dies and popped them up over oval panels cut with the new Stitched Oval Stacklets Dies. I embossed the Toffee oval with the new Twinkling Holiday Embossing Folder and added some ribbon and sequins from the new Snow Flurries Sequins. The sentiment was cut out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die once again and the dp is more Playful Patterns-Holiday.

TE Happy 9th Birthday Tag!

Hello! I have a fun little birthday tag to share with you today using one of the super adorable images from the Balloon Buddies Stamp Set along with the fab Circle Numbers Dies. I also used the Build a Tag 1 Dies to create my tag.

To start, I stamped the darling monkey using Oreo Ink onto some Sugar Cube cs and colored with Copics. I cut it out with the coordinating Balloon Buddies Die. I then used the #9 Circle Number Die to cut a piece of Cookie Monster and Candy Corn cs, then replaced the balloon in the image with the circle number. Since the rest of the image has a white outline from being cut with the coordinating die, I free cut a white circle outline to place behind the balloon.


I used some Simple Stories So Rad dp to create my tag base and some Chocolate Truffle cs to cut out the frame. I popped my image up with foam tape over the frame and then stamped a sentiment from the Let's Talk Sentiments Stamp Set onto the included banner die. Finally, I added some navy ribbon to the top and it was complete! So cute!

TE Release Day: Give Thanks

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions and all of the new products are now available! I have one more project to share with you today using the awesome new Fall Florals Stamp Set! 

 I decided to make some fun place cards for my Thanksgiving table using the Take Your Place Die. I cut the base out of Toffee cs and added some Playful Patterns Harvest dp to the bottom. I stamped a sentiment from the Fall Florals set with Chocolate Truffle Ink and cut it out with a Label Stacklets 9 Die. I then stamped the sunflower image from the set over the sentiment using Dijon Ink. The leaves were stamped with Pumpkin Ink and the berry twigs with Mulled Wine Ink. I cut them out with the coordinating Fall Florals Dies. Here's a close up:
