TE February Sneak Peeks: He is Risen!

10:00 AM 2 Comments

Hello! It's Day 2 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions, and all of the new products will be available on Thursday, February 9th at 7 AM PDT!

For my first peek today, I used the gorgeous new Redeemer Embossing Folder, along with the coordinating My Redeemer Lives Stamp Set and My Redeemer Lives Dies. I started by embossing a piece of Earl Grey cs with the Redeemer Embossing Folder. I then cut a piece of Sugar Cube cs with a Stitched Oval Stacklet and then embossed it with the Redeemer EF.  I lined the oval up with the lines on the Earl Grey panel and adhered it with foam tape.

I lightly sponged the circle with Sprinkles Ink and then stamped one of the coordinating crosses from the My Redeemer Lives stamp set with Versamark and heat embossed with Zing! Gold Embossing Powder. I cut the cross out with the coordinating My Redeemer Lives Die and adhered it with foam tape. To finish it off, I framed the entire panel using some Sprinkles cs and a Stitched Frame Stacklets Die. I then added the sentiment that I stamped with Oreo Ink, cut out with a Stitched Circle Stacklet, and lightly sponged with Lemon Meringue Ink. I also added a few of the new Lemon Meringue Enamel Shapes.

For my second card I used the new You're In My Prayers Stamp Set:

I stamped the first part of my sentiment using Oreo Ink and cut it out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die. I then cut out a piece of Sugar Cube cs and lightly sponged the cross in the center using a My Redeemer Lives Die, some Sprinkles Ink, and a Clarity Stencil Brush. I stamped the "prayers" over the cross using some Earl Grey Ink and then framed the panel using some Oreo cs and a Stitched Frame Stacklets Die. I added some Salt Water Taffy Enamel Shapes and the dp is from the TE Hello Happiness 6x6 Paper Pack.

Very simple but I just love this message.

TE February Sneak Peeks: Thank You For Your Kindness

10:00 AM 2 Comments

Hello! It's Day 1 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions, and all of the new products will be available on Thursday, February 9th at 7AM PDT.

For my first card today, I used this pretty new set called Rainboot Bouquet. I stamped this sweet image using Oreo ink onto some Sugar Cube cs. I paper pieced the boots using some dp from the TE Rainbow Brights 6x6 Paper Pack and used Copic Markers to color the rest of the image. I used the coordinating Rainboot Bouquet Die to cut out my image.

For the background, I started by using the Build a Scene Rolling Clouds Dies along with some Sprinkles Ink and a Clarity Stencil Brush to color my sky. I then used some Potato Chip Ink and another Clarity Stencil Brush to lightly color the ground. I embossed the panel with the Prairie Embossing Folder and then added my sentiment to the upper right corner using Oreo Ink and the Mini Misti to help me align my sentiment.

For my second card, I used the new Spring Florals Stamp Set along with the coordinating Spring Florals Die Set:

I stamped the wreath image from the set with Granny Smith Ink and then used the smaller flowers in the set to decorate the wreath. The flowers were stamped with Strawberry Milkshake, Sprinkles, Lemon Meringue, and Jelly Donut Ink. I added the green centers to the flowers using the new TE Enamel Shapes in Granny Smith-so fun!

The background was created using the new Lattice Frame Cutting Plate-LOVE! I cut out a piece of Sugar Cube cs and then layered it over some Sprinkles cs. I then used one of the oval frames included with the Lattice Frame Cutting Plate to cut a piece of dp from the TE Rainbow Brights 6x6 Paper Pack. I popped my wreath up over the dp and added the sentiment that I cut out using a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die. Finally, I added the sweet tulips to the corner that I stamped with Lemon Meringue Ink and Granny Smith Ink, and cut out with the coordinating Spring Florals Dies.
