Baby Shower
Welcome! This is my first official day as a blogger! I have gotten very hooked on stamping and paper crafting, and people are always asking how I made this or that, so now I can post the details on here! I'm starting my blog off with some items that I made for my friend's baby shower. Shown here are the invitation, a table decoration, and the favors. All of the items were made with Green Tea Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin' Up. The cardstock is Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, and Certainly Celery from Stampin' Up as well. The image is from the She's All That set also from SU. I stamped the image with Baja Breeze ink onto the Baja Breeze cardstock. The ovals were cut out with Oval Nestabilities. The paint can was simply wrapped with the paper and ribbon, and I used the image, flowers, and sentiment to cover the seams. The flowers were made with a flower punch, and pearls were added to the center. The large flowers were cut with my Cricut machine and I added a punched flower and button to the center. The nugget candy was wrapped with paper (1 inch x 3 inches) and a punched flower was glued to the top. The little bag was a template I got from Splitcoast Stampers called Leigh's Totally Totes. Thanks for looking and I hope you stop by again!
Hey! I'm the first to post...and I'm a complete stranger - LOL Saw your stuff at SCS and had to come check out your blog.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Kerri - nice that you started a blog...they are so fun!
Does each guest get one of the little purses? Adorable - what a great friend you are...I'm sure the expectant mother will be tickled!
Thank you so much Michelle! Yes, every guest received a bag with some nuggets : ) I didn't post my pictures until after the shower because I didn't want the expectant mother to know what we had planned! Thanks again for stopping by!
