From Our Home To Yours

Hello! I didn't get a chance to post this card that I made yesterday for the Color Challenge on SCS to use So Saffron, Night of Navy, and Kraft. I immediately pulled out this stamp set from I Brake For Stamps that I won during the Stampin' Out Alzheimers event. I hadn't had a chance to play with it, and it's so pretty! I stamped the image with Night of Navy, and colored in with Copic markers. I stamped the image again, and cut out some of the blooms, and the butterfly for more dimension. I could not figure out the layout I wanted, and I fiddled, and fiddled, and fiddled some more until I came up with this : ) Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

  1. I love that vertical flower treatment...reminds me of those topiaries that some people have on their front porch - really inviting and a great addition to go with this sentiment.

  5. This color combo surprised me. It didn't sound very appealing when I read it, but I've seen some fabulous cards in the gallery using it. Yours is fantastic. I love the cut out flowers, the little pearls, and the use of that punch. The DSP ties everything together!
