Happy Valentine's Weekend!

Hello!  I've been a lazy blogger the last couple of days :)  I've actually been trying to learn more about svg files, SCAL, and the Cricut Expression.  I'm so technologically illiterate it isn't even funny LOL!  Soooo after getting very excited about all the things you can do, I purchased the Cricut Expression on ebay : )  I can't wait to get it and the SCAL program and start playing!!!  If anybody has any good tips I would love to hear them!  I thought I would share a couple of cards that I made for the last two sketch challenges on SCS but never posted them here:

For the first one, I used this super adorable image from Belles 'n Whistles called Beary Big Hugs.  Soooo CUTE!  The sentiment is from the Verve set Thankful Hearts, and the dp is My Mind's Eye Bloom & Grow.

For my second card I used the flower from the Verve set Love's Flower once again.  I stamped it several times on different patterns of SU Bella Rose DSP and cut out the layers.  The sentiment is from the Verve set Accent Notes.

I can't wait to start watching some Olympics today and tomorrow is the Daytona 500 Woot, Woot!!!  Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!

  5. 2 beautiful cards Kerri!
You will love the cricut and it is so user friendly. I started with the original cricut when it first came out and then moved onto the expression again when that was first available and you can do so much. I didn't ever have scal because I then purchased the Pazzle 2 years ago. If there is anything I can ever help you with just give me a shout ;0)

  12. Okay, I haven't bought a "has to be colored with copics" stamp in a loooong time. But this little bear image just pushed me over the edge. As soon as it's back in stock, it's mine! Your coloring is always so fabulous. I love it!!!
