For My Teacher

Hello!  I have been putting together a little goodie basket for my daughter's teacher's birthday.  I had so much fun making my Your Next Stamp Space Boy bookmark, that I decided to make another one:)  This time I used what is now my most favorite Tilda ever~Apple Tilda from Magnolia.  Isn't she precious!?!?

For my bookmarks I have been using the PTI Tag Sale 1 Die.  I cut two of them out, and stick them together to get the elongated bookmark.  The dp is some old retired SU Summer Picnic DSP that I have been hoarding and the sentiment comes from the PTI set Vintage Picnic.  I also used some yummy Gingham Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon!  I really love how it came out, and I seriously feel like making bookmarks for everybody LOL:)  Maybe I'll add them to Christmas gifts...

My husband has been off the last couple of days, so today we decided to take my youngest to the zoo while his brother and sister were at school.  It was so fun to hang out just the three of us (of course we can't tell my daughter what we did LOL)!  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great night!

Your Next Stamp Challenge~Bookmark It and Some Exciting News!!!

Hello!  We have a new Your Next Stamp Challenge for you today, and this time the super sweet and talented Chris has challenged us to make a bookmark!  I decided to use this adorable image from the YNS set Space Boy.  Here is a close up:

My daughter is in Kindergarten this year, and is just learning how to read.  She is doing soooooo well!!!  One of her assignments is to write down how many minutes of reading she does each day, and to write down the book titles as she completes each book.  I think it would be so fun to make a bookmark for each of her classmates!  Although, I was really excited about showing her this one, and she said  "But mom, I already have a bookmark."  Her bookmark is strip of printer paper that says reading is fun.  There are no astromauts or sparkly stars or stitching or distressing or fun ribbon or dimension on her bookmark, and her mom didn't make it just for her!  Oh well.  Maybe the other kids in her class would like it:)

We hope you'll play along with us and as always we have not one, but two fabulous prizes for you to win!

1. Winner – one lucky winner, chosen by random.org, will win $10 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Winner Blinkie to proudly display on their blog!

2. Top Pick – one lucky entry, chosen by Chris, will win $5 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Top Pick Blinkie to proudly display on their blog! [NB You must use a YNS stamp on your creation to be eligible to win the Top Pick prize].

Onto my exciting news!  I was invited to be a full fledged DT member for Really Reasonable Ribbon!!!!  I am sooooo excited and I just LOVE RRR!  Thank you so much for the opportunity, Bonnie!

Beginning in November I will be posting on the RRR Blog every Saturday:)  If you haven't joined the RRR blog, you really should, because we have daily postings and awesome tutorials showing different ways to use ribbon!

That's it for me:)  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge!

Hello!  It's time for another Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge:)  We had our choice of seven autumn inspired pictures to choose from.  You can see them all HERE.  I chose this basket of preserves and came up with this:

I used a lot of PTI goodies on this card:)  I think the Friendship Jar and Vintage Picnic images look good together!  I used some PTI Autumn Abundance dp, some Orange Zest Ribbon, and the Woodgrain Impression Plate.  The only thing that is not PTI is the Labels One Nestabilities.  The layout comes from this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #96

We hope you'll play along with us!  If you upload to an online gallery just use the code DDIC.  Also, link your creation to Lori's Blog HERE.  Make sure you check out what the rest of the Divas came up with:

I thought I would leave you with a picture of my 3 pumpkins:)  I LOVE this time of year!

You're Invited!

Hello!  I thought it would be fun to have a little invitation made up for the next time my daughter wants a friend to spend the night:)  I used this super adorable and perfect image for this called Lili's Slumber Party by Inky Impressions.  Isn't she a doll!?  I really wanted to use some soft girly colors, so I pulled out my October Afternoon Fly A Kite dp for my color inspiration.  The sentiment comes from the PTI set Round & Round.  Here is a close up of sweet Lili:

My daughter turned 6 last week, and we had her birthday party on Saturday.  This year we had it at a park and the day couldn't have been more perfect!  She fell in love with The Dog party supplies:

So for her party favors, each child got a Webkinz dog.  I found a variety of these on Ebay for a GREAT price!!!  I put them in a gift bag that I found at Target and attached a tag that I made:

I honestly have no idea who makes this stamp, but it's one I've had for about 12 years.  I bought it when I was into scrapbooking and I wanted to make a scrapbook page for my little Maltese:)  Here is a picture (althought it's not very good!) of my daughter about to blow out her candles.

Notice the little cupcake stand that her cupcake is on?  I made that using the super fun Mini Cake Stand Template from Perfect Presentation found HERE!  Avery loved it!  The larger cupcake stand I found at Joanns.  You can decorate the way you want it.  I thought that was kind of fun, but it's definitely not the sturdiest thing around!

Well that's it for me today.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous hump day!

Lemonade Stand!

Hello!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Our neighbors had a garage sale on Saturday, and my daughter wanted to set up a lemonade stand.  We had set up a stand earlier in the summer, and I made a fun little banner and change collection jar for her, so we decided to pull these out again:)  I know most of you are over lemonade stands, and are ready for hot apple cider, but it's still in the mid to upper 80's down here in Florida!

I used my Cricut Celebrations Cartridge to make the banner, and decorated it with some Echo Park Paper Co. Sweet Summertime dp and sticker elements.  I used Thickers for the letters.  If you don't have the Cricut cartridge, then Leigh Ann has a banner template from Perfect Presentation that you can download HERE!!!

Here is the little change jar.  I decorated a peanut jar with some more of the Sweet Summertime DP, printed the 50 cents on the computer, and die cut some flowers with my Sizzix Build a Flower #2 Bigz Die.  Everyone thought it turned out super cute!

Well, my hubby is off today so we are heading out to get my little one's hair cut and grab some lunch.  Tonight my daughter has a soccer game, so we'll be at the fields cheering her on.  I love days like this!

I had lots of crafting time this weekend, and after feeling like my mojo had taken a vacation recently, I'm actually really excited to show you the projects I have for this week:)  See you tomorrow!
