Hello! It's time for another Your Next Stamp Challenge, and this time Beth's challenge is Nicely Negative! What in the world does that mean, you may be asking:) Well, she wants you to stamp white ink onto dark cardstock! Other options include using white embossing powder, white acrylic paint, stamping with white ink then using clear embossing powder, etc. I chose the quick and easy route which was PTI Fresh Snow ink onto True Black cs.
I used this adorable image from Your Next Stamp called Rock Star Fhiona. This set comes with lots of fun accessories like a guitar, a microphone, a couple of sentiments, and these cute music notes that I used for the background. I also used some gorgeous ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon! We hope you'll play along with us and as always you have two chances to win:
1. Winner – one lucky winner, chosen by random.org, will win $10 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Winner Blinkie to proudly display on their blog!
2. Top Pick – one lucky entry, chosen by Karen, will win $5 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Top Pick Blinkie to proudly display on their blog! [NB You must use a YNS stamp on your creation to be eligible to win the Top Pick prize].
Onto some other YNS News~ Your Next Stamp will be at ScrapFest Oshawa 2010 (Canada) this weekend (15-16 October). To celebrate, Karen is offering a 10% discount voucher for those attending the show! Simply print out the voucher below and present it at the YNS Booth to receive 10% off your purchase of YNS stamps!
The Your Next Stamp DT also have a very special blog hop planned for this coming Friday (October 15th) where we will be showcasing a VERY special stamp! The stamp will only be available for a very limited time and will be at an amazing price with free shipping to boot, but we can't tell you anymore than that right now as it's top secret! So be sure to pop back here on Friday to hop along with us, see this extra special stamp, and be in with a chance to own it yourself! Any crafter who isn't able to grab this stamp will definitely be disappointed. As I said, it's only going to be available to buy from the YNS store from Friday and for a VERY limited time and I'm positive you'll kick yourself if you miss it!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I'll be back shortly with my Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop Projects!
