PWCO Stamp-Free Friday!

Hello and Merry Christmas Eve!!!  It's time for another Stamp-Free Friday on the PaperWorks Co. Blog:)  Today I am sharing this project I made using some fab Echo Park Paper Co. A Walk in the Park dp.  LOVE this line!!!  Ok, I love all things EPP.  You can find some of this gorgeous paper HERE at the PWCO store:)  I also used some A Walk in the Park sticker elements and some Oval Nestabilities which you can find HERE.  PWCO carries all sorts of Spellbinders dies!  Here is a peek at the inside:

I found this notepad at Michaels and made a cover for it.  I added a pocket to the left side and put in a little taggie which can also be used as a bookmark.  I have this sitting on my desk for whenever I need to jot down some ideas, or shopping lists, etc.:)

I also forgot to share the project I had on the PWCO blog last week:

I decorated one of these adorable mailboxes that you can usually find in the Target $1.00 bin around Valentine's with some Echo Park Paper Co. Life is Good dp found HERE.  I also added some flowers that I cut with my MFT Flower Trio Die-namics Die, some Light Pink Mini Ric-Rac from Really Reasonable Ribbon, a punched butterfly, bow, and pearls.

Well we are heading to my parent's house today to spend Christmas with my family.  Tomorrow I will have a tutorial on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog if you want to check it out:)  I hope you all have a

A Few Final Christmas Projects

Hello!  I have a few final projects to show you that I made this holiday season:)  These are some Gable Boxes that I made for a cookie exchange party I attended.  I made four of these darling boxes using the Able Gable Template from Perfect Presentation as well as this super cute image from Your Next Stamp called Ellie Loves To Bake.  I cut each of the boxes out of some DCWV Printed Cardstock from The Homemade Christmas Stack that I found at Joanns.  The ribbon on this box is some gorgeous May Arts Satin With Grosgrain Moss from Really Reasonable Ribbon and I also used some Cherry Baker's Twine to tie my tag to my bow.

I won a prize for best display!  I made three little gifts using the Perfect Presentation Squared Template and I also made a sleigh using the Perfect Presentation Template Winter Sleigh.  I cut the gifts out of the DCWV The Homemade Christmas Stack printed cs once again.  Everyone just loved it!!!  Here I am with the other winners:

Can you tell they are sisters? LOL!

Finally I have a few Christmas tags.  I used the PTI sets Holiday Button Bits, Wreath For All Seasons, and Signature Christmas.  The dp is Echo Park Paper Co. Everybody Loves Christmas.  Love that line!

That's it for me today.  Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy your Wednesday!

Love Birds

Hello!  I want to apologize for being a horrible blogger this week!  My little 3 y.o. has been really sick with a fever and not sleeping well, therefore, the rest of the house has not been sleeping well.  Turns out he has Strep Throat so he is now on antibiotics and doing better:)  I'm just praying the rest of the house doesn't come down with it!  I really want to have a healthy Christmas break!

I thought it would be fun to create a sweet little Valentine for today.  I just adore these images from the My Cute Stamps set Elegant Birds.  I decided to use both birds from this set and make them look like little love birds:)  The dp is PTI Simple Valentine and I used some fabulous Cotton Candy Baker's Twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon to hang the cage and to tie my tag to my button.  This GORGEOUS show stopper sheer ribbon is some Sheer White Organza w/ Satin Edge and Silver Accents.  Don't you just LOVE IT!!!  It's super inexpensive and oh so BEAUTIFUL!!!  I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #104 for my layout.

I hope you have a wonderful Saturday!  I'm going to try to finish up my Christmas cards and get them sent out (yes I am waaaay behind with everything this year!)  Thank you so much for stopping by!

What? No Stamps!

That's right!  Fridays are now called Stamp-free Friday on the Paper Works Co. Blog.  I think I had a small panic attack when Peggy told me I would be posting on Fridays in December and that this is what the theme would be!  I'm definitely not used to making anything without stamps, but ended up having a lot of fun!  I used some of my favorite holiday dp from Echo Park Paper Co. called Everybody Loves Christmas which you can find HERE at the PWCO store:)  I used some fun Dew Drops to decorate my tree, and the sentiment comes from the journaling cards sheet found HERE.  I cut my snowy hills out of white cs, and added some Stickles to the edges for some sparkle.  To finish it off I added lots of stitching:)  That was it!  Very quick and simple!

So do you have any fun weekend plans?  Tonight we're going to go see some Florida snow which is basically soap bubbles being blown out of a fan LOL!  Tomorrow night I'm going with my girlfriend to see Love and Other Drugs.  Has anybody seen it?  I think it looks really good!  I'll be back tomorrow with my Really Reasonable Ribbon post and my first project using My Cute Stamps!!!  I hope you have a great weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!

Cookin' It Up Amber Ink Style-A Holiday Blog Hop!

Hello! Welcome to the Amber Ink Holiday Blog Hop!  If you'd like to hop along with us, then start with our Ambassador of Awesomeness~Shannan Teubner!  If you are already participating in the hop, then hopefully you arrived here from Julia's fab blog!  There are some yummy prizes hidden along the way, so make sure you leave comments:)

We have been busy cooking up projects using a recipe that Pam a.k.a. incredimombo gave us (Pam is Amber's mom:)  The recipe is this:

Two colors from the same color family and a hint of another color plus any neutral along with 7 "procedures".  Since I'm here to represent Team Blue, this is what I came up with:

I went with my favorite blue ipapers~Starburst Blue Tiny Whisper, Snowflake Lace Blue Tiny, and Snowflake Lace Blue Tiny Hint.  The image comes from the adorable and super fun digi set Fish Wishes (also available as a clear stamp set).  Isn't he too cute???  So here is my recipe:

Three ipapers
Oval Nestabilities
Martha Stewart Border Punch
Stitching
CB Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder
=7 ingredients!

I also used the layout from this week's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #85.
Ok, now it's time to hop on over to Taylor's beautiful blog where I'm sure you'll find more wonderful goodies:)  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Wishing You Peace, Love, and Joy & Baby Book

Hello!  This is the project I have posted today on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  I can't stay away from this GORGEOUS Shimmer Satin Ribbon!  I just love this stuff:)  For my card I used this super sweet image  from the Snowbaby Collection at Belles 'n Whistles called Catch-a-flake Snowbaby.  One of the great things about the Snowbaby Collection is that 10% off the proceeds go towards Breast Cancer Research!  The dp from Echo Park Paper Everybody Loves Christmas and the sentiment is from the PTI set Tree Trimming Trio.  I used last week's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #84 for my layout.

Since I didn't have a chance to post my most recent baby albums yesterday, I'll share some pics today:

I sell these books for $40.00 plus shipping, and I usually use different dp, etc. on each one.  My friends usually tell me what colors they would like, or if there is a theme they have in mind.  If you are interested just e-mail me and I'll see what I can do:)  I am now working on a couple of girl ones, which to me are a little more fun because I can add flowers, butterflies, etc.:)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  We are heading to a Christmas parade today, and then a little more shopping.  We are almost done!
