Finally, Your Next Stamp is having a 3 day sale in honor of the end of the Canadian postal strike~YAY!  Everything is on sale and there is no code required, so head over to the YNS Store and grab a bargain!  Sale ends Friday July 1st:)

I'm off to work on a few more projects, then hopefully I'll be able to sit down and relax and visit all of your beautiful blogs!  I've missed you guys!  Thanks for stopping by:)

PaperWorks Co. Recipe Challenge Friday!

EEK!  I'm running late today!  I have been running around this morning trying to get ready for our vacation.  We are leaving tomorrow to spend a week in Gatlinburg Tennessee~YAY!  My hubby and I miss the mountains so much, and we both just love hiking (especially when I know there is a waterfall at the other end:)  Hopefully I'll have some pretty pictures to share when we get back!

We have a new Friday theme at PaperWorks Co. this term ~Recipe Challenges!  For our first challenge we are actually combining two:

1)All White Card with Colored Image
2)Photo Inspiration

Don't you just love this room?!  I do!  Here's what I came up with:

I used this adorable image from the Rachelle Anne Miller Collection called Day at the Beach.  I colored it with my Copics, and cut it out with Rectangle Nestabilities.  I embossed the bg with my PTI Picnic Plaid Impression Plate. I added a paper doily and some clouds that I cut with my PTI Cloud Die, along with some lace, ribbon, and a border punched with the Martha Stewart Daisy Border Punch.  A little stitching and it was complete!

If you'd like to play along, just link your creation on the PaperWorks Co. Blog HERE!  You’ve got until 11:59 June 30th to play along – and remember, if you play along with at least 2 challenges this month (without combining our sketches & recipes), you’ll be entered to win either your choice of 2 Stamps OR this month’s PaperCard Kit!

Well, I'm off to PACK!  I have some posts scheduled for next week if you feel like dropping by:)  Thank you so much for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend and Father's Day!

SCRSC46~Enjoy

Hello!  I'm so glad I had a chance to play along with the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge this week!  I actually played last week too, but decided to use my card for the Dirty Dozen gallery, so you'll have to check it out on Splitcoaststampers on the 15th:)

This week's challenge was to use your favorite color combo.  I LOVE Orange and Aqua, so that's what I went with.  Add a little green and it's perfect!  I used this cutie patootie Street Corner Josh, colored him with Copics and cut him out.  I popped him up on a square that I sponged with Aqua Mist and embossed with the CB Seeing Spots EF.  The dp is My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Fly A Kite, and the sentiment comes from the Verve set Enjoy.  Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps is also sponsoring Sweet Sketch Wednesday, so I used this week's sketch for my layout.

Time to go start some dinner:)  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful evening!

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Your Next Stamp, and this time we want to see Shaped Cards!  I decided to pull out my Label 8 Nestabilities because I just love their shape:)  I folded some Aqua Mist cardstock in half, and cut it out with my Nestie, leaving the fold in place.  Then I cut one more single Labels 8 shape and glued that to the front of the card.

The image I used is called Sippy.  Isn't he so super CUTE!?!  I used more My Mind's Eye Lime Twist dp, this time from the Fly A Kite paper pad.  The sentiment comes from the YNS set Handwritten Sentiments which I adore:)

A New Term at PaperWorks Co.!

Hello!  Sorry my postings have been so sporatic!  I've been working on DD projects when I can, plus, now that it's summer I have all the kiddos home and they keep me busy!

I'm excited to say that Peggy (owner of PWCO) has invited me to stay on for another term!  You can read my intro on the PWCO Blog today, and I made this card using the super sweet Rachelle Anne Miller image Whoo Loves You?  I covered the hearts on the stamp with tape, then inked it up and removed the tape before stamping.  This is a great way to cover up a part of the image that you don't want stamped!  Now I think this card is a perfect all occasion card:)

Tonight my two best friends and I are taking our daughters to see Taylor Swift!  We are going to have so much fun!  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend:)
