Color Throwdown #185~Welcome Little One!

Hello!  It's time for another Color Throwdown, and this week the fabulous Broni is our hostess!  I just LOVE this picture she chose-so fun!  I was really inspired the other day when I was browsing Melissa Phillips blog and saw her Chipboard Tags.  I decided to try one for myself and this is what I came up with:

I started off by cutting the tag out of chipboard using the PTI Tag Sale #4 Die.  I then embossed it with the PTI Woodgrain Impression Plate.  I used some white acrylic paint and lightly painted over it, then took some sandpaper and distressed the edges.  I stamped the clothesline from the PTI set Hanging Out along with some grass from the same set.  I used the Hanging Out coordinating dies to cut the clothes, stamped on them and popped them up on foam squares.  I also added a chipboard border to the bottom of the bag, layered with a felt border.  This was a lot of fun!  I definitely see more chipboard tags in my future:)

We hope you'll play along with us this week!  Just add your projects to the Color Throwdown Blog and make sure you check out the rest of the DT's amazing creations while you're there!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful Wednesday:)

Kerri
