SugarPea Designs ProjectPea Blog Hop!

Hello! Well, today is my last day as a ProjectPea. I've had so much fun over the last several months playing with these adorable stamps and dies, and I just want to say Thank You to Wendy for having me:)

For my project today, I made a simple tag using My Hero and the Gift Tag SugarCuts Die. I stamped the image onto some Kraft cs with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the lightening bolt with Copics. I cut the sentiment out with the banner from the Gift Tag die set and added the stars also from this set. Finally, I added the ribbon and twine and it was complete!

Taylored Expressions Die Focus: Elegant Butterfly Overlays!

Hello and happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend:) I want to share a quick and easy card I made using this week's Deconstructed Sketch #189, along with some fab Taylored Expressions supplies!

I started with this sweet sentiment from the TE set Big Bold Thanks. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and used the Bloomin' Stacklets 2 Dies to create my flowery frame. The fishtails were created using the Banner Stacklets 1 Dies and I used one of the gorgeous Elegant Butterfly Overlays Dies to cut out my butterfly. So pretty and I just adore this layout! The dp is Echo Park Simple Life

I'm busy working on more TE cards because next week is release week-woohoo! Mark your calendars and I'll be back next Monday with some peeks:)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

SPDSS21!

Hello! It's time for a new sketch at SugarPea Designs! Here's what I came up with using this fab layout:)

I made a quick CAS card using this adorable owl and sentiments from the SPD set Classroom Cupids. I wanted the circle to look like the moon behind this cutie and I got the idea to prop him up on the "HOOT" sentiment from this awesome creation by Lisa Lara:) The dp I used is Echo Park We Are Family.

You can play along by linking your creation using this sketch to the SugarPea Designs Blog HERE! One lucky participant will win up to a $15 gift certificate to the SPD Boutique!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day:)

Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks: Egg Stacklets and Build a Tag 3!

Hello! It's Day 3 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions! All of the new products will be available TOMORROW, February 5th at 7AM PST!!!

I made my first card using the fun new Egg Stacklets Dies! Who wouldn't want an egg shaped card for Easter? I cut the base out of Toffee cs and then added some Build a Scene dp to create my little scene. I cut the grass with the Grass Border Die and then added this ADORABLE bunny using the new set Tag-a-long Easter and cut it out with the coordinating Tag-a-long Easter Dies. I then used one more of the Egg Stacklets to cut the small egg and placed it by my bunny. The sentiment from Tag-a-long Easter was stamped onto the banner from the Build a Tag 3 die set.

Totally makes me smile:)  For my next project I made a set of tags using the Build a Tag 3 Dies. I just LOVE these die sets!!!

I cut my tag bases out of Plum Punch cs and then added some For Peep's Sake dp to the bottom. The blue panel was cut out of Sprinkles cs and embossed with the Dotted Lattice EF (I can't stop using this folder!). I added the pink banner that I cut out of Strawberry Milkshake cs. I then stamped a sentiment from Tag-a-long Easter onto some Sugar Cube cs and cut it out with the square die from the Build a Tag 3 set. Finally, I added the bunny that was cut out of Toffee cs using the Hippity Hop Dies and the small egg cut with the Little Bits Easter Confetti Dies.

Perfect for adding to my kiddos Easter baskets!
