TE Sneak Peeks: How Sweet It Is...

Hello! It's Day 1 of December Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions and love is in the air! I just love creating valentines and the new stamps and dies make it even more fun:) All of the new products will be available on Thursday, December 8th at 7 AM PDT!

For my first peek today, I used the new set How Sweet It Is. This set comes with several sentiments that you can piece together to customize your own sentiment!

I started by stamping the bg with the new Brushed Hearts Background Stamp along with some Sprinkles Ink. I then stamped the first part of my sentiment using Oreo Ink directly over the top. I cut a heart using Sugar Cube cs and the Stitched  Heart Stacklets. I stamped the "loved" sentiment using first VersaMark Ink and then some Cherry Pop Ink and embossed with Zing! Clear Embossing Powder. I stamped the "by you" underneath using Oreo Ink once again.

To finish it off, I added some TE Sweetheart Sequins. Here's a close up:

For my next peek, I used the new Filled With Love Stamp and Die Combo:

I started by stamping the conversation hearts using Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn, Peapod, Lollipop, and Jelly Donut Ink, then cut them out with the included die. I stamped the Mason Jar using Oreo Ink and cut it out with the coordinating Mason Jar Dies. I made a shaker and placed the conversation hearts inside. I tied a piece of baker's twine around the lid and added the little tag cut with a Tag Stacklets 3 Die and popped another conversation heart on top.

For the background I used a heart cut with a Stitched Heart Stacklets Die and stamped a sentiment from the Filled with Love Stamp and Die Combo using Oreo Ink. The strip of dp is Doodlebug Sweet Things and I added some more TE Sweetheart Sequins. The white bg is embossed with the new Conversation Hearts Embossing Folder which is difficult to see in the pictures.

  1. Kerri, I love the subtle use of color on your background stamp in the first card. Simple and elegant. And the heart shaker treats is perfect. Thank you for the inspiration. Hugs.
