Taylored Expressions November Sneak Peeks: Little Bits Hand Mixer and Life is a Kitchen!

10:00 AM 3 Comments

Hello! It's Release Week at Taylored Expressions and today is Day 1 of sneak peeks! Be prepared to see some awesome gift ideas this week;)

For my first peek I used several new dies and a sentiment from a new stamp set. I started by cutting my frame using the new Mini Color Block Cutting Plate and some Cherry Pop cs. I layered that over some Sugar Cube cs and added my images using the new Little Bits Hand Mixer, Mixer and Blender Dies along with some Cherry Pop, Cookie Monster, Lemon Meringue, and Metallic Neutrals cs. The sentiment is from the new Life is a Kitchen stamp set-so fun!

On the inside of the card I simply added this darling border using the new Eventful-In the Kitchen Die!

For my next project, I baked up some yummy pumpkin bread using my favorite pumpkin bread recipe! Then, to make it a super cute gift, I added some ribbon and this adorable tag using the Life is a Kitchen stamp set and the coordinating Life is a Kitchen Dies!

I cut out the tag using a Tag Stacklets Die and added some Echo Park Simple Life dp. The images were stamped with coordinating ink and then cut out with the Life is a Kitchen Dies. I stamped the sentiment, also from the Life is a Kitchen Stamp Set onto a Designer Mini Tags Die.

I then wrote my recipe out on one of the fun new TE Recipe Cards! Such a sweet and simple gift!

Taylored Expressions: 'Tis the Season!

5:31 PM 0 Comments

Hello! I've been dying to get my hands on one of the new TE Watercolor Panels, and I had a little time to play, so I grabbed this darling one from the Christmas collection:)

I colored in the image using some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then layered the image over some Cherry Pop cs. I added the snowflakes using the TE Make a Snowflake Dies and popped that up over some American Crafts Christmas dp. I used some Toffee cs for the base and it was complete! Super simple but super cute!

I'll be back Monday with some TE November Sneak Peeks! You will not want to miss this release-so much fun! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Wednesday:)

Taylored Expressions Pinterest Inspiration: Movie Themed Party Favors!

4:05 PM 0 Comments

Hello! I wanted to share the favors I made for my daughter's birthday party this past weekend:)  I was inspired by Sankari's fun favors found HERE! The theme was outdoor movie/hot tub party, so I thought it would be fun to send everyone home with a free RedBox rental and a bag of microwave popcorn!

I had to keep my design simple because I had 15 to make. Using TE Dies made this so easy! I first used the Film Strip Border Die to cut my border, then cut the circular frame using the Stitched Circle Stacklets Dies. I added the popcorn and movie reel using the Little Bits-Movie Night Dies and then added the thanks using one of the free dies I received when I placed a TE order:)

Inside my gift card holder, I placed a RedBox gift card which I found the download for HERE! My husband typed the promo codes that we purchased from RedBox on the cards before printing. Such a fun idea!

That's it for me today:) Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of your Monday!

Taylored Expressions October Release Day: Special Delivery!

10:00 AM 0 Comments

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions which means that all of the new products are available NOW in the TE Store!

For my final project this release, I used some of the adorable new Little Bits Dies-Little Bits Penguin, Little Bits Snowman, and Little Bits Reindeer along with the Special Delivery Stamp Set to make a set of tags!

I started by using the Build a Tag 2 Dies to cut my base out of Toffee cs. I embossed each base with the new Holly Embossing Folder. I then cut the square shapes that come with the Build a Tag 2 die set out of Sugar Cube cs, and stamped the various sentiments from the Special Delivery stamp set-I just LOVE that font!!!

I added the Little Bits images and framed each one with frames cut out of Cookie Monster, Sweet Basil, and Cherry Pop cs. The dp is from the Build a Scene Christmas Paper Pack and I added the snowflakes using the Little Bits Snowflake Confetti Die. Finally, I added the ribbon and Silver Metallic Twine.

Thanks for stopping by! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers:) Happy shopping!
