Final Two All That Scraps Guest DT Projects:(

11:57 AM 22 Comments

I have had so much fun this month as the Guest DT for All That Scraps!  I'm so sad to see my time come to an end:(  For my final two projects, I made a fun halloween card using C.C. Designs Sweet November Stamps Baby Tricks or Treats Witch and a little Gable Box with the C.C. Designs Swiss Pixies image Halloween Hansel.  You can find instructions for the gable box HERE

I'm sorry if I haven't been around.  I have 3 sick kids on my hands, so I've been a little busy.  We're off to the doctor's office this afternoon, and hopefully everyone will be feeling better soon!  I will leave complete recipes for both projects below.

One more thing, there are some BRAND NEW TEMPLATES available today from Perfect Presentation and you can see them HERE!  I will have a couple of samples later on this week:)  I will also be back Wednesday for the Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop!  Don't forget about the blinkie contest on Karen's Blog HERE.  You can win the ENTIRE NEW RELEASE just by putting the blinkie on your blog!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day:)

Thinking of You

12:34 AM 21 Comments

Hello!  When I was at my parent's house last weekend, my mom let me stamp a couple of her Belles 'n Whistles images, and I was itching to color one up:)  I decided to make a card for this week's Belles 'n Whistles Challenge which is an open theme.  I used this adorable image called Tea Time, and paired her with some fun Cosmo Cricket Togetherness dp.  The ribbon is some Yellow Stripe Grosgrain from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the layout is from this week's Sketch Saturday sketch.

Well, it's only the first week of school, and illness has already struck!  My oldest was sent home today with vomiting and diarrhea, and my daughter is completely congested and can't breathe!  That's definitely the downside of school starting again.  We stay so healthy all summer!  Oh well.  Hope you have a wonderful, HEALTHY weekend:)

Your Next Stamp Blinkie Contest!

10:51 AM 0 Comments

Hello!  Well, Karen (yns owner) is holding another Blinkie Contest on her blog!  All you have to do is head over there, snatch the code, and put the blinkie on your blog!  Karen is offering up the ENTIRE NEW RELEASE to one lucky winner!!!  Now that's worth playing for:)

The blog hop fun begins on September 1st, so don't miss out, plus you can see all of our fabulous new DT members!!!  I'm so excited too, because the projects I've seen so far for the hop are AMAZING!  You will definitely be inspired!

So I saw Eat, Pray, Love last night.  I really liked it, but the middle was a little slow.  I've never been one to try to find myself, or to get into meditation, etc. so a little different for me.  How exciting to travel for a year like that though, and to see all of the amazing places she's seen!  In the movie she has 49 stamps on her passport.  Where is the first place you would go?  I would go to Switzerland.  Have a great day!

Wishing You A Sweet Birthday

10:22 AM 14 Comments

Hello!  Today on Splitcoast, you can read reviews from the Product Focus Review Team about the new Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements.  I had a chance to play with the Lacey Squares which I showed you yesterday, and these Beaded Circles.  I love them both!  For this card I used this super sweet image and sentiment from the Your Next Stamp set Make a Wish.  The dp is Kaisercraft Hippy Girl which I also used to paper piece the tablecloth.  I love the colors in this collection!  I also used some Pink Grosgrain Ribbon which you can find at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I'm going to see Eat, Pray, Love with some girlfriends tonight.  Has anybody seen it?  Is it any good?  I'll let you know my take tomorrow:)  Have a wonderful day!

All That Scraps Guest Designer Week 4~Back To School!

9:01 AM 20 Comments

Hello!  I hope you had a great weekend!  My best friend's husband won 4 tickets to the Jacksonville Jaguars/Miami Dolphins game on Saturday so they invited us to go with them.  We had box seats, and were able to park right in front of the stadium.  It was awesome, and so fun to pretend like we were somebody important for an evening LOL!  My husband is a HUGE Dolphins fan and I mean HUGE so it was a perfect game to go to, plus it was rainy which didn't effect us at all in our air conditioned and covered box:)

It's time for another Monday Spotlight on the All That Scraps Blog which you can see HERE.  Today they are featuring this little back to school caddy I created by using instructions I found HERE.  I used this adorable Teacher Honey image, as well as the notebook and sentiment from the PTI set school time.

I just got home from dropping my daughter off at her first day of Kindergarten:(  I really didn't think I would get emotional because she has gone to preschool the last couple of years, but another mom had to hand me a kleenex on the way out the door!  I cried all the way to the car LOL!  They really do grow up fast.

Here is another project I created using the Amy R. set The Best.  This set comes with several large sentiments like the word friend, and then several smaller sentiments to go with them, like the happy birthday.  I love it!  I used Balloon Emma from the Sugarplums Party set.  Isn't she just adorable?!  I colored the word friend using a tutorial I found on Amy's blog HERE.  I just love the effect!

That's it for me!  Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day:)

Hello!  It's time for another Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge, and this time we were inspired by this yummy Lindt chocolate:)  I have to admit, I wasn't sure where I wanted to go, but then I thought of this sentiment from Verve:

I love this quote!  I decided to pull out the softer colors in the photo, and thought I would use one of the Verve Release Week sketches~#2.  The flower, quote, and images stamped around the quote all come from the Verve set Love's Flower.  I used some PTI Dark Chocolate cs to go with the chocolate theme, and the dp is from Webster's Pages.

We hope you'll play along with us, and if you do, just use DDIC when uploading to an online gallery.  Also, make sure you check out what the other Divas created!  These gals are uber talented, so you won't want to miss out!!!

Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection Design Team Call!

12:12 AM 11 Comments

Hello!  I've been debating all week if I should apply for the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection Design Team.  I've been having serious self doubt about whether or not my creations are good enough, but in the end, this opportunity is just too AMAZING to not at least try!  I think I would jump around my house and squeal for weeks if I were able to work with Elisabeth and her gorgeous images!!!  So, I bought one of her adorable digis today: Little Rapunzel (I just LOVE her!!!) and this is what I made:

I used some Basic Grey Green at Heart dp and the A Spoon Full of Sugar sketch.  The sentiment comes from the PTI set Butterfly Dreams.  I'm also entering these two cards that I made recently:

This image is Lemonade Anyone? from Belles 'n Whistles

This image is Beary Big Hugs also from Belles 'n Whistles.

Ok, wish me luck and good luck to all of you who are applying!  Thank you so much for stopping by, and enjoy your Friday woot woot! :)

Your Next Stamp First Birthday Bash Blog Hop!!!

8:00 AM 54 Comments
Please scroll down for the Divine Divas Inspiration Challenge and to see my blog candy go HERE

Today is a very special day as Your Next Stamp is celebrating its very 1st birthday with a Birthday Blog Hop!!!  The hop will run today through Wednesday, August 11th at midnight!

The YNS Starlets are being joined by some fabulous friends for this hop, and together we are showcasing some fantastic new release stamps as well as some old favorites! These new stamps are available to buy today from Your Next Stamp!

Hopefully you came here from Cindy's amazing blog, but if not then start at the beginning which is Karen's fabulous blog:)

We have not one but TWO grand prizes for you to win!!!  Two lucky winners will be drawn at random to each receive a $25 gift certificate to spend on YNS stamps! WOW! As the prize is so fantastic, we are going to make you work a little to enter, LOL! Each Starlet and Guest Starlet have a letter hiding in their blog post. All you need to do is gather these letters, rearrange them to form a 3-word phrase, and then email this phrase to Karen. All correct entries will be entered into the grand prize draw. So make sure you hop around every blog and remember to leave a comment at every stop too.

All that cake must have affected Karen as she has gone a little crazy and is holding a 20% off sale for the duration of the hop - the crazy part is that everything will be reduced by 20%, including items already on sale! I'm not sure when (or even if!) this will happen again, so make sure you hop on over to the YNS store once you've completed the hop and fill your basket!  Now onto my card:

Is this not the CUTEST???  I adore this little astronaut and that alien~EEK!  So super cute:)  This is a new set called Space Boy which is a set of 4 stamps~3 images, and the sentiment (there is another adorable alien which I did not use on this card).  Wanna know what my secret letter is?  H

So now it's time for you to hop on over to Nicole's blog for some more cuteness, but don't forget to grab my hidden letter and also leave a comment before you go!

Thanks so much for hopping with us today! I hope you enjoy our birthday celebrations and new stamps:)

Hello!  It's time for another Divine Divas Inspiration Challenge, and this time Lori picked these fun bottles of Tequila as our inspiration:)  Now I don't have ANY alcohol themed images (I really need to fix this problem) so I pulled out the yellow, blue, orange, and green from the bottles and stuck with the drinking theme:
