TE Sneak Peeks: You Are My Sunshine

Hello! It's Day 2 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions! All of the new products will be available on Thursday, April 7th at 7 AM PST!

For my first peek today, I used the previously released Hydrangea Bouquet along with the new Hydrangea Bouquet Die! I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics. I cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it up with foam squares over a panel cut with a Pockets and Pages Stitched Essentials Die.


I stamped a sentiment from the set and cut it out with the same Stitched Essentials Die. Such a beautiful bouquet!





For my next card I used the new Simply Stamped-Peonies set to create another Mother's Day card. I stamped the peonies with 3 shades of pink ink and the leaves with two shades of green ink. I cut them out with the coordinating Simply Stamped-Peonies Dies. I popped them up with foam tape over an oval panel embossed with the Weathered Embossing Folder.


Here's a peek at the inside:


I love this cool vine image that comes with the set and I added one of the smaller peonies to the corner. This will be perfect for my mother in law for Mother's Day! I used the Share Joy Challenge #27 Sketch for my layout:)

TE Sneak Peeks: Just Because and Mother's Day!

Hello! It's Release Week at Taylored Expressions and all of the new products will be available on Thursday, April 7th at 7 AM PST!

For my first peek today I used these DARLING new Stacked Teacups Dies! I cut the outline with Earl Grey cs and then cut the inserts using Granny Smith, Candy Corn, and some coordinating pink cs. The dp is Pebbles Happy Day! I popped the teacups up with foam tape over a Sugar Cube panel cut with a Stitched Rectangle Stacklet and embossed with the Dotted Lattice Embossing Folder.


The sentiment is from the new Simply Stamped-Peonies stamp set and was cut out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die. I added some coordinating sequins and called it complete! I just LOVE these teacups!!!




For my second card I used the new Little Bits-Sewing Machine Die. I just love the old fashioned look of this die, and my mom loves to sew, so I think she'll love it too!

I cut the sewing machine out of Dijon cs and popped it up with foam tape over a panel cut with a Stitched Circle Stacklets Die, and embossed with the new Cross Stitch Embossing Folder. I also cut the rectangular panel using a Stitched Rectangle Stacklet and the border was added using the Stitched Scallop Edger Die.


The sentiment is from the new Stitch by Stitch 2 stamp set and was cut using a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die. Finally, I added some sequins and it was complete. The dp is Simple Stories Vintage Bliss.
