TE Sneak Peeks: Happy Birthday Little Lady!

Hello! It's Day 2 of Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions! All of the new products will be available on Thursday, March 3rd at 7 AM PST!

For my first project today, I created a ladybug shaped card using the new Roly Poly-Ladybug Dies! So CUTE! I started by cutting the body using a Stitched Circle Stacklet and some Oreo cs. I cut the wings out of Cherry Pop cs and the head and polka dots out of more Oreo cs. I added the flower that I cut using the Mini Bloomers Dies out of Sugar Cube and Lemon Meringue cs. Very simple but so adorable:)


On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the set Bugs & Balloons.





For my next card, I used a fun new stamp set called Sit & Chat. I stamped the chair image onto some dp and cut it out with the coordinating Sit & Chat Dies. I then stamped the lamp image onto some Sugar Cube cs, colored with Copics and cut it out with the coordinating die. I used more dp to create my "wallpapered" wall and floor. 



I stamped a sentiment from the Sit & Chat set directly onto the dp. The panels were cut out using Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and the Sugar Cube cs bg was embossed with the new Houndstooth Embossing Folder. Such a fun set!

TE Sneak Peeks: Gross, You Have to Live with a Boy Now!

Hello! It's Day 1 of Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions! All of the new products will be available on Thursday,  March 3rd at 7AM PST!

For my first card today, I used the hilarious new set Mr. & Mrs. Grumplings! These sentiments are sure to bring smiles to the new bride and groom's faces:) I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I cut them out with the coordinating Mr. & Mrs. Grumplings Dies and popped them up with foam tape over a panel cut with a Stitched Square Stacklet. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel. 


The dp I used is Prima Madeline and the layout is MOJO435. 





For my next card I used the beautiful new Best Wishes Script Die. You can use this sentiment die for so many occasions! I cut my sentiment out of Earl Grey cs and layered over some My Mind's Eye Fiddlesticks dp. I cut the scallop borders using the Stitched Scallop Edger Die and added the sweet flowers using the Mini Bloomers Dies. I also used some Silver Metallic Twine to line either side of the sentiment.

Taylored Expressions Emboss Resist-Better Feel Better

Hello! The Baker's Dozen is playing around with the Emboss Resist Technique this month:) For my card today, I used the TE Graphic Greetings Get Well stamp. I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark onto some watercolor paper and heat embossed with Zing! White Embossing Powder. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to "paint" over the paper once embossed.

I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Rectangle Stacklet and then layered over some Fancy Pants Burlap and Bouquets dp. I added the flowers that I cut out of the same dp using the TE Bloomers 1 Dies. Very simple!
