Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am in desperate need of some thank you cards : ) My son's school has a big fundraiser/gala every year, and several of my friends have bought tickets to the event, or raffle tickets to help support his school. I want to show my appreciation by sending out some thank yous! I made this one today for the Try a New Technique Challenge on SCS. Today we tried the Embossed Wax Paper Resist Technique which you can read about here. I used this beautiful bloom from SU called Bella Blossoms. I stamped it three times, once with Kiwi Kiss, and twice with Cameo Coral. I cut out the stem and flower, and the middle section of the flower and popped everything up on Dimensionals. I added some Stickles to the bloom, and some pearls to the center. My bg was made using today's technique, some So Saffron Ink, and a brayer. I added some ribbon, a couple of Dew Drops, and it was complete! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I love this great big flower! The sparkle and dew drops are nice touches. I really like how you put the flower on top of the white swiss dots panel. It really draws attention to all the lovely details on the flower.
Love the cut-out oval with the Swiss Dots – what a great idea…and what a pretty card!
