Exciting News and Other News!

I got a wonderful surprise today when I stopped by the Your Next Stamp blog! Karen~the owner~wasn't going to post the names of her new DT until Saturday, but she chose to post them early and I made the Your Next Stamp DT!!! I am soooo excited to work with these adorable stamps! Thank you so much, Karen!!! You can see my sidebar for the list of the other fabulous DT members, and make sure to stop by the store to see all the great products Your Next Stamp has available! Karen is even offering 15% off everything in the store this week through Sunday! Just enter the code THANKS to receive the discount!

Onto some other news. I will no longer be a Stampin' Up demonstrator after this month. There is a new policy in place which I think is ridiculous, and I want no part of it. According to the policy, I could not link to other companies such as Your Next Stamp or Digiments from my blog. I could not even link to a card I put on Splitcoast, or to a friend's blog who promotes products for another company. I could not give you a detailed list of what I used to make a card if one of the products I used did not come from Stampin' Up. What I put on my blog is my business, and I won't tolerate SU acting like Big Brother. They lost me and my group of friends who faithfully place monthly orders as a demo and as customers. I hope more people will rebel against this horrible decision. I always used Stampin' Up products on pretty much every card I made. So what if the whole thing wasn't SU! I was still promoting their products. Not any more. Thank you for listening, and I truly hope there are other people who feel the same way. I really want them to regret this poor decision! Hugs,

Kerri

Congratulations, Kerri! Of course, they would have been crazy NOT to choose you! You're awesome!!

Too bad about Stampin' Up! I dropped as a demo in July and now I'm so glad I did!! Wouldn't want Big Brother looking over my shoulder!!

Woo-hoo Kerri! Many congrats hun - I'm so excited to get to know you and to work with you too!! And I completely agree with your decision re SU - their demands are ridiculous, and I'm sure they'll lose a lot of business through that! Hugs, Simonne x (aka SemSee)

I totally agree with you on the SU thing, I was thinking of becoming a demonstrator but no way now!

Congrats on your new DT. Your stuff is always fabulous.

The whole thing with SU right now is a little crazy. I think it's not going to work out for them how they had planned :(

SU can suck it!

Congrats to you on the design team... that's terrific and it comes at a really great time.

I too am very disheartened about SU's decision. This is an insult to our integrity. I for one won't have my freedoms compromised... no kool-aid for me. Our personal social media networks, creativity, expression and ideology can't be taken away unless we let it.

One of my favorites all-time expressions is "There are no victims.. only volunteers". I'm not signing it either. Good for you.

So sorry to hear about the SU... I see so many people are leaving this company because of the new rules... Hope it won't stop you from creating and crafting!
Sending you my hugs,
Elena
