For the Graduate

Hello!  Wow, I can't believe it's Friday already!  I wanted to share a graduation card that I made for my hubby's little brother who is graduating from High School this year!  When we got married, he was only 7 years old and now I have a 7 year old!  Scary!!!

I used this fab graduation set from PTI called For the Graduate.  I really love this label image, and the sentiments in the set are great too!  I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #74 for the layout, and after I punched the scallops, I thought it would be a perfect place to add 2010.  I created the Argyle pattern using the school colors with the My Time Made Easy set Argyle Amazement.  I also embossed the Scarlet Jewel panel with the PTI Wood Grain Impression Plate.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned!  Not much going on around here which is good because I have a baby girl chipboard album to work on for a friend!  Hopefully I'll be able to share some pictures next week:)  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!

Stamps:  PTI For the Graduate, MTME Argyle Amazement
Paper:  Scarlet Jewel, Summer Sunrise, SU Basic Black
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black, Scarlet Jewel
Accessories:  Sewing Machine, Summer Sunrise Ribbon, Dimensionals, PTI Wood Grain Impression Plate

I love the scarlet jewel and summer sunrise together! Awesome combo, and the black just helps the colors to pop. That woodgrain embossing is growing on me. The more I see it, the more I like it! Hope you get done everything you want to today.
