Hello and happy Tuesday! This is the card I made this weekend, for a birthday party that my daughter was invited to. Football season is almost over, and soon my husband will be in mourning LOL. At least we have Nascar to look forward too, and he just bought us tickets to go to the Daytona 500~Yippee!
For my card I used this super fun image from Your Next Stamp called Football Dude. I know that Jacob's parents are from Ohio, so I decided to color him up in Ohio State colors. Not sure if they are fans or not, but it was a good starting point:) The polka dot dp is from October Afternoon Modern Homemaker and the striped dp is some Basic Grey Oliver dp. I used some fab Licorice Baker's Twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon to tie around my button, and the layout is Jen's Sketch For You To Try.
Man, my arms are so tired just trying to type this post! I made it to the gym for my 5th class! I'm actually starting to feel a little better, so maybe it's working:) It's been 5 years since I've done any sort of exercise, so I know I have a long way to go. Fabo card in the OSU colors!! I'm from Ohio and am still a fan of their teams. The boys' basketball team is ranked #1 in the nation now, so your card will be a big hit with Jacob! I'm so jealous you get to go to Daytona! I'm a Nascar fan (in addition to football and basketball) - #24 is my man! :-)
this is such a cute card-love the image and layout-saw on a comment you made on wanda cullen's blog-that you used to live in pittsburgh and you are big panther fans-that's where I live-we love going to the pitt games-such a charged atmosphere
