Your Next Stamp 4th Birthday Blog Hop + Introducing Penny Johnson!

12:00 AM 30 Comments
Happy 4th Birthday YNS!!!! 4 years ago we opened the virtual doors to the YNS Store and are so excited to have all of you celebrating with us!

I am so proud to say that I have been with Your Next Stamp since the VERY beginning!  I was one of Karen's first DT members, and because she is such a wonderful and sweet person, and I find such joy when I use YNS images, I have stayed and will continue to stay for as long as she'll have me:)

We are so pleased to be celebrating this special day with an introduction to a fabulous new stamp line from Omnia designs - 'In Vogue' designed by Penny Johnson!

Aren't they adorable!?  The hop starts on Susan's Blog and if you've been hopping along, you should have arrived from Wendy's Blog.

You have until August 10th at 12 midnight (EST) to hop, and FOUR lucky winners will win one of the new release stamps!  You just have to leave comments on all of the blogs along the hop for your chance to win!

I used the adorable new Girl's Night Out for my card today:

I just adore these girls, and they are a blast to color!  I used some My Mind's Eye Collectable Remarkable dp and added the sentiment from the YNS set Awesome Journal Words.  The sentiment was stamped onto a banner cut with the YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies.

Karen is also offering some AMAZING DEALS at the Your Next Stamp Store so make sure you check them out!

Now it's time to hop on over to Thanh's fabulous blog, but don't forget to leave a comment before you go!  Thank you so much for stopping by and happy hopping and shopping!

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge!

12:00 AM 2 Comments

Hello!  It's August, which means we have a new Inspiration Picture and a new Sketch for you on the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog!

Fabulous, right?  I just LOVE those gumball machine cookies, and Peggy's sketch is awesome as always:)  Here's what I came up with today using both the inspiration and the sketch.  Remember, you can use either or both to play along!

School is right around the corner so I decided to pull out this cutie Ellie Loves School.  Of course I had to use a few YNS Dies, so I chose an arrow from the Awesome Arrows Die Set, and the stars from the YNS Whatnot Die Set-Celebrate.  I also used the YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies for my sentiment and the dp is Doodlebug Design Inc. Stars & Stripes.

You can check out more samples from the DT HERE on the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog, and to see how you can play along!  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a fabulous Friday!

I have a card to share with you today that I made using some Taylored Expressions goodies:)  I LOVE the Ride the Wave stamp set.  It's so perfect for making masculine cards, and so very cool!  I stamped the image onto some Fancy Pants Designs Down by the Shore dp, and added the waves using the Ride the Wave Border Die.  The "Enjoy" sentiment comes from the Coconut Cove stamp set.

Here are a couple of pictures of my kiddos that I took while we were on vacation last week.  We had a blast hiking in the Smoky mountains and tubing on the river:)  We even got all of our school shopping done~YAY!

Taylored Expressions: Share Joy Campaign

11:00 AM 9 Comments

Hello!  Taylor and Jon have started a wonderful cause called the Share Joy campaign!  The Share Joy campaign is an invitation to celebrate the joy of card making and to share that joy with others. The gift of a handmade card can bring a smile to anyone’s face, and we want to bring as many smiles as we can to the faces of people around the world! Please join us in creating and sending handmade cards that will make a difference in the lives of others!

I just love this idea!  Taylor and Jon are going to be choosing different charities to send the cards to.  To start, they are sending the first batch of cards to hospital chaplains throughout the U.S.  They would love your help!  Please visit the TE Share Joy page for all the info on how you can be a part of this wonderful campaign!

Card making brings me so much joy!  I have always been creative, and have tried many different arts and crafts.  Once I found card making, I was hooked!  I just love bringing images to life with color and accents and I also love seeing the joy on people's faces when I give them my cards:)  It makes people feel special when they receive a card that takes so much time and effort.  Here is a card that I made for the Share Joy campaign:

I haven't had a chance to play with this set called Garden Shed and have been anxious to ink it up!  I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics.  I used the Cloud Border Die to sponge my bg and added a sun using the Pinking Circle Stacklets as well as a Circle Nestability to make the sun.  The sentiment was stamped onto a Simple Tabs die and I added the flags at the bottom using a Banner Stacklets 1 die.  The dp is Simple Stories Vintage Bliss.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Make sure you check out more awesome projects for the Share Joy campaign from these talented ladies and then get stamping and join the cause!
