International Gymnastics Federation~Sign a Petition!

10:09 AM 1 Comments
I was devastated last night for Jordyn Wieber, and the ridiculous 2 gymnast rule affected many more gymnasts from different countries.  I thought the Olympics was supposed to be about the best competing with the best!  If the World Champion, and AA gymnast who came in 4th place is not allowed to compete, then how can you say that the best were able to compete for the all around title!  Please join me in signing this petition and Go Team USA!

Color Throwdown #202

2:00 AM 13 Comments

Hello!  We have a gorgeous color combo for you this week at Color Throwdown, courtesy of the fabulous Tammy Hershberger.

I made a fun little gift box for a friend of mine's daughter who will be one in a couple of weeks.  She is having a mermaid themed party, so I thought this adorable image from Your Next Stamp called Happy Days Mermaid would be perfect!

I used the Able Gable svg file from Perfect Presentation, and some dp from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky.  The sentiment comes with this set.  I plan to fill this up with some hairbows for the birthday girl.  Now I just gotta get those made:)

Make sure you check out the Color Throwdown Blog to see the rest of the DT's amazing creations and to play along!  I'm heading out of town to spend a few days with my parents.  Today is my mom's birthday so Happy Birthday Mom!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Wednesday!
