Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop!

3:00 AM 25 Comments

Hello and welcome to the Your Next Stamp April New Release Blog Hop!  We have some GROOVY projects to share with you today using some ADORABLE new stamps and dies!!!  The DT has had a blast playing with all of the new goodies, and we know you will too!

The hop starts on Stephanie’s blog, and if you’ve been hopping along, you should have arrived from Maureen's blog.

Here's what I came up with today:

First up I used this super cool chick~Groovy Cute Fhiona!  Love her!!!  I also used several new dies on this card.  First is that fabulous Large Peace Sign Die which I asked Karen to create after I saw this darling image:)  Don't they just look perfect together!!!  I also used the YNS Whatnots Set Four~Groovy 70's Dies which comes with the "groovy" sentiment and the flower builder dies that I used on my card.  Check out all the fun shapes!

Next up I made a simple little bookmark/love note for my youngest.  He just LOVES McDonalds- especially their chicken nuggets and french fries, so he got a big kick out of this LOL!

I used the new YNS Fast Food Fun Fries~so fun!  I also used several other dies including the YNS Whatnots Seasons Set One Dies for the heart, the Bookmark/Tag Layered Die Set for the bookmark itself, and the YNS Letter Board Die for the letter M.  Not quite the golden arches, but he didn't seem to mind:)

As always we have some fabulous prizes to be won!  One lucky winner will win the prize package pictured below!  There will also be some smaller prizes hidden along the hop:)  Just make sure you leave comments on all of the DT blogs for your chance to win!  Winners will be announced on the YNS Blog Saturday, April 27th.

Karen is also offering some amazing specials at the Your Next Stamp store!  You will receive 15% off your order using code YNSAPRIL2013 valid April 24th-April 28th.  Plus, she has loaded up the YNS Bargain Bin and Retired Stamp Bin with awesome deals!

Now it’s time to hop on over to Wendy's blog, but don’t forget to leave a comment before you go!  Thank you so much for stopping by and happy hopping!

Taylored Expressions April Studio Challenge

11:00 AM 8 Comments
Please scroll down for my Your Next Stamp Sneak Peek!

It's time for the Baker's Dozen Studio Challenge. This is a monthly opportunity for the Taylored Expressions team to share what makes our stamping studios hum. Each month we have a fun, crafty question so we can share our favorites, some tips and tricks, stamping advice and more.

The theme for April is:
Mix & Match! TE stamp sets are designed with plenty of images and sentiments so they are "self-contained" for lots of creativity, but sometimes it's fun to mix and match several different sets for even more possibilities.  Your challenge is to create a project using three or more TE stamp sets.

What a fun challenge!  I had already thought about pairing the adorable farm scene from Made in the Shade with a couple of images from Green Acres, so I started with those two sets.  I colored up the darling pig and used the fun "hay there" sentiment from Green Acres.  I stamped the sentiment on a Banner Stacklets 1 Die.  Then I saw this super cute wheelbarrow image from Welcome Gnome and used it to complete my scene:)

I haven't made a gift bag in a while, so I decided to use the Fancy Gift Bag file from the Silhouette Online Store.  I added some barn wood looking dp and the pretty pink polka dot dp from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss paper pack.  I also added some ribbon from the January 2013 KI Ribbon Bundle.  Here's a close up of these sweet images:

Make sure you check out what sets the rest of the Baker's Dozen used together!  I always look forward to their creativity:)  Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific Tuesday!

Hello again!  I wanted to share another card I made using the Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month, along with the Key Ingredients Kit:)  You can get both of these goodies when you sign up for the monthly Deluxe Subscription!  This month's SOTM is called Simple Greetings and it's such a great set to make a quick and pretty card!

I started with a fun Mojo Monday Sketch~#275 and gathered some beautiful dp from the Key Ingredients Kit.  I stamped the circle frame from the SOTM with Baja Breeze, and the sentiment in the middle.  I then stamped the flower and a leaf, cut them out, and layered them on top.  I added a little texture with the CB Seeing Spots embossing folder, put it together and called it complete!  So quick and easy!

I am loving these new stamps of the month and I hope you are too!  Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday!

3:00 AM 3 Comments

Hello!  This month's Fun Friday theme at Your Next Stamp is Spring Fling!  I decided to pull out this adorable image called Feather Duster Ellie :)  Doesn't she look like she's ready for a good spring cleaning?  I have to say that moving is a real pain in the you know what, however, it really made us go through EVERYTHING and get rid of so much unneeded stuff!  I need to be better about doing that every year instead of every 9 years LOL!

Wouldn't this be a great Mother's Day card?  I added the sweet sentiment from the Ellie Loves Butterflies set.  It's perfect for acknowledging all the hard work that we do at home:)  I stamped the sentiment on a banner flag that I cut with one of the YNS Whatnots Seasons Set One Dies.

Make sure you check out the Your Next Stamp Blog to see more inspirational spring themed projects from the DT!    Thank you so much for stopping by and have a fabulous Friday!

Taylored Expressions CAS Hello

11:00 AM 2 Comments

Hello!  I have a card to share with you today using some fab supplies from Taylored Expressions!  This gorgeous silhouette is from the set Posh Posies and so is the sweet "hello" sentiment.  I also used the beautiful  Elegant Butterfly Overlays Die.  The dp is Echo Park Paper Co. Sweet Girl and I used FTL 236 for my layout.

I kept this card very simple because we moved into our rental this weekend.  It was a lot of hard work and I am very sore and tired!  I still have several boxes to unpack, and still a lot of work to do in our old house before we close.  It will all be worth it in the end:)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

11:00 AM 14 Comments
Please scroll down for my Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday Project:)

Hello!  We are having a special blog hop today to show off projects made with this month's Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month!  The Stamp of the Month Club is a new subscription that you can order and the cool thing is that the SOTM coordinates with the Key Ingredients Kit Club!  If you get them both, they look fabulous together:)

This month's Stamp of the Month is Simple Greetings, and this is what I came up with:

I stamped the gorgeous flowers from this set with SU Baja Breeze and So Saffron to coordinate with the beautiful dp in this month's Key Ingredients Kit.  I stamped the frame in Sahara Sand and then stamped the sentiment in the center.  I cut the flowers out and layered them around the frame.  I layered all of that on top of a tag I cut with the new Tag Stacklets 1 Dies.  I also added some fun ric racs with the new Ric Rac Borders Dies.  The decorative element at the top was cut using the new Simple Tabs Dies.  I just LOVE the shapes of these new tabs!  Here's a close up:

The layout I used is the Deconstructed Sketch #96.  Make sure you hop around to the other blogs listed below for more inspiration!  I can't wait to see what these talented ladies came up with!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a Terrific Tuesday!

Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday!

3:00 AM 3 Comments

Hello and happy Tuesday!  I am playing along with the Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday Challenge today, and this is our inspiration picture this month which you can find HERE.

Aren't they just GORGEOUS!  I had this picture pulled up and Avery and Carson (my 8 and 5 y.o.) were claiming their cookies.  I heard Avery say I'm having this one, and you can have that one.  Mom will get this one, etc...  I hope they gave me one of the big ones LOL!  I used the gorgeous blue and brown and came up with this:

This adorable fairy is from the YNS set Seasonal Fairies, which I stamped inside this fun Jam Jar Globe.  I added some flowers using dies from YNS Whatnots Seasons Set One.  They are actually four leaf clovers, but I think they make pretty flowers, don't you?  The sentiment comes from the YNS stamp set Mandi, and the dp is My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Portobello Road. I used MOJO287 for my layout.

We hope you'll play along with us!  You have all month to create something using the Tasty Tuesday photo as your inspiration.  Just link your projects to the Your Next Stamp Blog, and while you're there, make sure you check out creations from the DT!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

11:00 AM 12 Comments

Hello!  It's release day at Taylored Expressions which means that all of the new products are available in the Fresh Out of the Oven Department NOW!!!

Today I have another card using this super fun new Shade Tree Cutting Plate and the coordinating Made in the Shade stamp set.  I couldn't wait to ink up these adorable snowmen~so cute!  I found some dp that I wanted to use for the background from My Mind's Eye All is Bright and cut out my image to layer over the top.  I die cut the shade tree out of some coordinating cs and added a little sponging with some white ink.  I then added a little glitter to give it an icy look.  I punched a couple of snowflakes, added buttons, and stamped a sentiment from the new set A Glimpse Inside onto a banner I cut with the Banner Stacklets 1 Dies.  This card came together very quickly and was so fun to make!  Here's a close up of these cuties:

Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peek: Moka Jerome and Happy Heart

11:00 AM 12 Comments

Hello!  Are you ready for some more peeks from Taylored Expressions?  Today I'm sharing a card I made with this cute new grad~Moka Jerome!  I just love him!  I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored him with Copics and cut him out.  I popped him up over a frame I cut with the TE Instant Photo Frames Die and stamped a sentiment from Moka Jerome on the frame.  The fishtail flag was cut with a Banner Stacklets 1 Die.  Here's a look at the inside:

See that new Grad Cap Die?  Isn't it awesome!  I also used the Whimsy #'s Dies for the 2013.  The dp is Echo Park Paper Co. All About a Boy.

Next up I have a set of Lunchbox Note Tags!  I LOVE making tags, and I got so excited when I saw the new Tag Stacklets 1 Dies being released this month!!!  The shape is PERFECT and the fact that you get 6 different sizes~YAY!!!

I used the new stamp set called Happy Heart on my tags.  When I read these sentiments I thought that they would make wonderful lunchbox notes for my kiddos~well maybe Avery because she's the only one who can read LOL!  I stamped the sentiments on different colored cs with VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I added a heart on each one that I die cut with the Cupid's Arrow Dies.

I used Doodlebug Fruit Stand dp on all of the tags.  For my sunshine tag I added a border with the TE Cloud Border Die.

Ignore my uneven stitching ;)

Now make sure you check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen Blogs for more awesome sneak peeks!  We also have a couple of special guests joining us today:)  I'll be back tomorrow for Release Day!
