Hello! Your Next Stamp is so excited to be teaming up with Perfect Paper Crafting for an amazing blog hop!  The hop begins on The Perfect Paper Crafting Blog, and if you've been hopping along, you should have arrived from Jenny's Blog!

Here is my project using fabulous products from both of these companies:)

I created a couple of fun 4"x4" cards using this adorable new stamp set from Your Next Stamp called Silly Monsters.  I just love these guys!  I decided to pair them with a fun Halloween sentiment from the YNS set Trick or Treat, which I stamped onto a YNS Fishtail/Banner Die.

I created my layout using the awesome The Perfect Ruler from Perfect Paper Crafting!  I was able to cut my papers in a perfect diagonal AND perfectly center my images thanks to this tool:)  I had no idea the scope of all that you can do with The Perfect Ruler until I watched this video HERE.  After I saw that, it was a must have:)  Here are some close ups of my cards:

The dp I used is Doodlebug Halloween Parade.

Both Your Next Stamp and Perfect Paper Crafting are offering some fabulous hop specials!  Your Next Stamp is offering 15% off all orders with discount code YNSPLHOP15.

And Perfect Paper Crafting is offering a 5% discount on all orders using code YNS5%.

Hello!  It's time for the Baker's Dozen Studio Challenge. This is a monthly opportunity for the Taylored Expressions team to share what makes our stamping studios hum. Each month we have a fun, crafty question or theme so we can share our favorites, some tips and tricks, stamping advice and more!

The theme for September is:
We’re continuing our month-long TE Birthday Bash celebration with a special birthday-inspired Studio Challenge! Sometimes all we need to help us create is to simply see something that is beautiful, cool, or unique. Did you know that Taylored Expressions has over 30 boards on Pinterest filled with crafty eye-candy? We’d love to have you follow us at http://pinterest.com/tayloredexpress

Today’s challenge: choose a photo from Taylor’s Birthday Inspiration Pinterest Board to inspire a stamped creation!

It was so hard to choose, but I decided to go with this darling farm cake for my inspiration:

Here's what I came up with:

I used the adorable TE set Green Acres along with some fabulous Build a Scene Dies to create a fun farm scene:)  I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics.  I then cut them out and popped them up with foam tape over my rolling hills that I cut using the Build a Scene Rolling Hills Dies.  I added the sun using the Build a Scene Sunshine Dies and stamped the sentiment directly onto the sun.  The dp I used is My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Breeze.

Here are my supplies:

There are several ways for you to join us this month AND four winners will be chosen at random from all contest entries to win a copy of the 2013 Taylored Expressions Catalog & Idea Book (a $9.95 value)! One Grand Prize winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries to receive a copy of the 2013 TE Catalog & Idea Book AND a TE Stamp set of winner's choice!!!

Your Next Stamp September New Release Blog Hop!

12:00 AM 21 Comments

Hello and welcome to the September Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop!  We have some spooktacular new stamps and dies for you this month and they are available NOW at the YNS Store!  We would love for you to hop along with us for your chance to win one of these adorable new sets:

The hop begins on Jen’s Blog, and if you’ve been hopping along, then you should have arrived from Julie's Blog.  You have until Tuesday, September 25th at 12am (EST) to leave comments on all of the DT blogs for your chance to win!  Karen will announce the winners on the YNS Blog Wednesday, September 26th

For my first card today, I used this darling witch named Samantha!

I colored her with Copic markers and used some fun Doodlebug Halloween Parade dp.  The stars were cut with the YNS Whimsy Star Layered Die Set and the sentiment was stamped onto a die from the YNS Whatnot Seasons Set One Die Set

Next up I have a couple of fun projects for the mom to be:

This sweet image is called Mommy To Be illustrated by Penny Johnson.  I had so much fun coloring her up!  A friend of mine from our church group is expecting a baby boy, and we are throwing a shower for her in a couple of weeks.  This card will be just perfect for her:)

The sentiment is from the new Kup Toppers Set and I also used the coordinating Kup Topper Dies.  The border was cut with a die from the Must Have Borders Die Set One and the dp is Echo Park Paper Co. Bundle of Joy Boy.

You can't have a baby shower without favors, so I've made some fun favors using the new Kup Toppers Set once again along with the Kup Topper Dies and this awesome new Mini Kup Carrier Die!

So much fun!

As always, Karen is offering some amazing hop specials!  You will receive 15% off your entire order through September 27th!  Online code is YNSSEPT22NR

Now it’s time to hop on over to Laura's blog, but don’t forget to leave a comment before you go!  Happy hopping and shopping!

Taylored Expressions Share Joy Campaign: Inspiration Challenge Week!

11:00 AM 3 Comments

Hello! The Taylored Expressions 5th Birthday Bash is continuing this week with a new Share Joy Campaign, benefiting the Union Rescue Mission of Los Angeles, Prodigal's Home of Phoenix, and Iowa Homeless Youth Shelter of Des Moines. These wonderful charities work tirelessly to bring comfort and care to many homeless individuals and families throughout the year. One way they are sharing joy each and every day is by celebrating the birthdays of their participants, and you can help by sending in your handmade birthday cards!

This week, Taylored Expressions will help you to create with a different Birthday Inspiration Challenge each day! These charities need birthday cards of all kinds: child, adult, baby, so send in your funny, sweet, pretty, elegant, works of art and know that you will be brightening some one's day in a way only a handmade card can do. To get all the details on how to participate, please hop over to the Taylored Expressions Blog.

Today's challenge is a fabulous sketch by Jen Shults:

Here's what I came up with using the sketch:

I used the fun TE set Oh Snap! along with the coordinating Oh Snap Cameras Dies.  I stamped the camera and sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored with Copics.  I sponged around the sentiment with Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink and cut a slit in the camera to make it look like a Polaroid.  I also used the TE Instant Photo Frames Dies and the Film Strip Border Die.  The dp is Simple Stories Smarty Pants

There are several design team members and alumni who have samples to share for today's inspiration challenge!  You can get the full link list on the Taylored Expressions Blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and have a wonderful Wednesday:)

Happy Holidays!

11:24 AM 1 Comments

Hello!  It's that time of year when I start thinking about the upcoming holidays!  I'm trying to get a jump start on my Christmas cards, so today I pulled out this beautiful wreath from the Taylored Expressions set Wreaths of Joy.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics. I sponged around the image panel and the sentiment panel with Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink and added a little stitching.  I cut the sentiment out with a Labels Stacklets 3 Die.  Finally, I added the berries by coloring some Kaisercraft Snow pearls with Copic R59. The layout is Mojo Monday Sketch #310.  A very quick and easy card!  Here is a close up:

Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day:)
