Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

11:00 AM 14 Comments
Please scroll down for my Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday Project:)

Hello!  We are having a special blog hop today to show off projects made with this month's Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month!  The Stamp of the Month Club is a new subscription that you can order and the cool thing is that the SOTM coordinates with the Key Ingredients Kit Club!  If you get them both, they look fabulous together:)

This month's Stamp of the Month is Simple Greetings, and this is what I came up with:

I stamped the gorgeous flowers from this set with SU Baja Breeze and So Saffron to coordinate with the beautiful dp in this month's Key Ingredients Kit.  I stamped the frame in Sahara Sand and then stamped the sentiment in the center.  I cut the flowers out and layered them around the frame.  I layered all of that on top of a tag I cut with the new Tag Stacklets 1 Dies.  I also added some fun ric racs with the new Ric Rac Borders Dies.  The decorative element at the top was cut using the new Simple Tabs Dies.  I just LOVE the shapes of these new tabs!  Here's a close up:

The layout I used is the Deconstructed Sketch #96.  Make sure you hop around to the other blogs listed below for more inspiration!  I can't wait to see what these talented ladies came up with!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a Terrific Tuesday!

Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday!

3:00 AM 3 Comments

Hello and happy Tuesday!  I am playing along with the Your Next Stamp Tasty Tuesday Challenge today, and this is our inspiration picture this month which you can find HERE.

Aren't they just GORGEOUS!  I had this picture pulled up and Avery and Carson (my 8 and 5 y.o.) were claiming their cookies.  I heard Avery say I'm having this one, and you can have that one.  Mom will get this one, etc...  I hope they gave me one of the big ones LOL!  I used the gorgeous blue and brown and came up with this:

This adorable fairy is from the YNS set Seasonal Fairies, which I stamped inside this fun Jam Jar Globe.  I added some flowers using dies from YNS Whatnots Seasons Set One.  They are actually four leaf clovers, but I think they make pretty flowers, don't you?  The sentiment comes from the YNS stamp set Mandi, and the dp is My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Portobello Road. I used MOJO287 for my layout.

We hope you'll play along with us!  You have all month to create something using the Tasty Tuesday photo as your inspiration.  Just link your projects to the Your Next Stamp Blog, and while you're there, make sure you check out creations from the DT!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I decided to decorate one of these adorable brown paper bags for my project today.  I just love the rustic/country feel and thought this gorgeous Lavender Bouquet would be the perfect image to use.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copics.  I cut it out and popped it up over a tag I made using the new Tag Stacklets 1 Dies.  I also added some fun ric racs that I cut with the new Ric Rac Borders.  The dp is My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Lavender.  I added a paper doily, a tiny clothespin, and some stitching and called it complete!

Now I've just got to go find some Brighton jewelry and some chocolate to put it in:)  I think my mom will love it!  Here's a list of who else has projects to share today:

11:00 AM 12 Comments

Hello!  It's release day at Taylored Expressions which means that all of the new products are available in the Fresh Out of the Oven Department NOW!!!

Today I have another card using this super fun new Shade Tree Cutting Plate and the coordinating Made in the Shade stamp set.  I couldn't wait to ink up these adorable snowmen~so cute!  I found some dp that I wanted to use for the background from My Mind's Eye All is Bright and cut out my image to layer over the top.  I die cut the shade tree out of some coordinating cs and added a little sponging with some white ink.  I then added a little glitter to give it an icy look.  I punched a couple of snowflakes, added buttons, and stamped a sentiment from the new set A Glimpse Inside onto a banner I cut with the Banner Stacklets 1 Dies.  This card came together very quickly and was so fun to make!  Here's a close up of these cuties:

Keep in mind while you're shopping for your goodies that Taylor is offering a special on the Dream Big set today through Sunday or while supplies last!  It is on sale for 25% off OR you can receive it FREE with any order over $100.00!

Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peek: Moka Jerome and Happy Heart

11:00 AM 12 Comments

Hello!  Are you ready for some more peeks from Taylored Expressions?  Today I'm sharing a card I made with this cute new grad~Moka Jerome!  I just love him!  I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored him with Copics and cut him out.  I popped him up over a frame I cut with the TE Instant Photo Frames Die and stamped a sentiment from Moka Jerome on the frame.  The fishtail flag was cut with a Banner Stacklets 1 Die.  Here's a look at the inside:

See that new Grad Cap Die?  Isn't it awesome!  I also used the Whimsy #'s Dies for the 2013.  The dp is Echo Park Paper Co. All About a Boy.

Next up I have a set of Lunchbox Note Tags!  I LOVE making tags, and I got so excited when I saw the new Tag Stacklets 1 Dies being released this month!!!  The shape is PERFECT and the fact that you get 6 different sizes~YAY!!!

I used the new stamp set called Happy Heart on my tags.  When I read these sentiments I thought that they would make wonderful lunchbox notes for my kiddos~well maybe Avery because she's the only one who can read LOL!  I stamped the sentiments on different colored cs with VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I added a heart on each one that I die cut with the Cupid's Arrow Dies.

I used Doodlebug Fruit Stand dp on all of the tags.  For my sunshine tag I added a border with the TE Cloud Border Die.

Ignore my uneven stitching ;)

Now make sure you check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen Blogs for more awesome sneak peeks!  We also have a couple of special guests joining us today:)  I'll be back tomorrow for Release Day!

Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peek: Made in the Shade and A Glimpse Inside!

11:00 AM 10 Comments

Hello!  It's time for some sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions!  All of the new products that you see over the next couple of days will be available on Thursday at the Taylored Expressions Store!

First up I have this fun new set called Made in the Shade and a fabulous new cutting plate called Shade Tree Cutting Plate!  Made in the Shade is a full sized set that comes with several adorable images sitting amongst rolling hills.  These images can be used on their own, or paired with this awesome tree!

For my card, I cut the tree with brown cs, then cut it again with red, yellow, and orange cs so I could add some fun fall colors to the leaves.  I used these adorable pumpkins from the Made in the Shade set and then thought that this darling owl from the current TE set Hoot Hoot Hooray with Coordinating Dies would look so cute in the tree!  I cut out the hills and the pumpkins so that I could layer them over some My Mind's Eye Collectable Remarkable dp.  Here's a close up:

You can see that I stamped the pumpkins twice so I could cut them out and pop them up for dimension:)

Next up I have a card using the new set A Glimpse Inside!  Last month we released From My Window which was looking out, and this month with A Glimpse Inside we are peeking in!  We also have a new window shaped die called Picture Window Die, but this set also coordinates with last month's released Arched Window Die.

I used the lovely tea set and coordinating sentiment from A Glimpse Inside to make this pretty Mother's Day Card.  Did you notice the curtain and the flower box?  This is another new die set that coordinates with the window dies called Window Accessories Dies!  There is also a shutter die in this set which I can't wait to use!  I stamped the sentiment on a banner cut with a Banner Stacklets 1 Die, and added a pretty border with the Lace Chain Border Die.  The dp is My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Howdy Doody.  Here's a close up:

Make sure you check out more sneak peeks from the rest of the Baker's Dozen!  I know you are just going to love their amazing projects!

Whippin' Up a Sweet Hello!

11:00 AM 3 Comments

Hello!  I have a special card to share with you today, because the Taylored Expressions DT had a chance to play with some new goodies from Doodlebug!  I JUMPED at the chance because I just adore their dp!!!

They sent me the awesome Take Note Essentials Set, and Taylor carries the Take Note 6x6 paper pad in the store HERE.  As soon as I saw that fun sticker that says "menu" I knew I wanted to pair it with this darling Cuppie from the TE  Cuppie in the Kitchen set!  I layered Cuppie and the menu sticker on top of a frame I cut with the Label Stacklets 3 Dies. I stamped the sentiment onto a banner I cut with the Banner Stacklets 1 Dies and added some red brads.  I also added a border with the Open Scallop Border Die

If you'd like to see more awesome inspiration using more fabulous Doodlebug dp, make sure you check out Taylors Blog!  She showcased some projects yesterday and has more today!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  We have the appraiser coming to do the appraisal on our house today. Our last hurdle and then I will consider the house SOLD!  Have a great day:)

Taylored Expressions: Make it Memorable

11:00 AM 4 Comments

Hello!  I wanted to share another card I made using the Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month set~Make it Memorable along with the coordinating Make it Memorable Dies

I have so many friends with April birthdays, so I decided to use this pretty Happy Birthday sentiment once again.  I cut the scalloped circle with one of the Make it Memorable Dies and stamped the leafy flourish from the stamp set.  I then stamped the label image and sentiment and cut them out with the coordinating die.  I added a couple of pearls that I colored with a Copic Marker and used this awesome layout which is the Deconstructed Sketch #94.  I would never come up with this layout on my own~love it!  The flags were cut with the TE Banner Stacklets 1 Dies.  This gorgeous paper is from the March Key Ingredients Kit.  You can get both the Stamp of the Month set and the Key Ingredients Kit HERE!  Here's a close up:

That's it for me today:)  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a terrific Tuesday!
