10:00 AM 1 Comments

Hello! It's Day 2 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions and all of the new products will be available on Thursday, May 7th at 7AM PST!

I have a couple of Father's Day cards to share with you today:) The first one uses the new sentiment stamp set-My Favorite Dad, along with the new Argyle Cutting Plate! I stamped the sentiment with navy ink and sponged around it while it was still in the nestability. I cut a piece of Blue Corn cs with the Argyle Cutting Plate for the bg and layered behind it with Peapod cs. The strip of Blue Corn cs was embossed with the new Brick Embossing Folder. Finally, I added the ties using the new Little Bits Neckties Dies.

My next card features several of the new Little Bits Dies-Mug, Grill, Golf Ball & Tee, and Lawnmower. I also used a sentiment from the new sentiment stamp set-Punny Man! I framed my images using the Color Block Cutting Plate and embossed a piece of Red Pepper cs with the Brick Embossing Folder for the bg. I am just loving these new dies!!!

10:00 AM 2 Comments

Hello! It's Day 1 of Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions! All of the new products will be available on Thursday, May 7th at 7 AM PST!

For my first peek today, I used the fun new addition to the You've Got Mail series, You've Got Mail-Patriotic! I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I added the stars using the Star Stacklets Dies and the dp is from the new Summer Nights 6x6 Paper Pack. Finally, I added some ribbon and some stitching and called it complete! The layout is the Deconstructed Sketch #195

For my next project I made some fun cupcake toppers using the new Patriotic Treat Toppers! These are perfect for creating your 4th of July decor! I used some new cardstock colors-Blue Corn and Red Pepper, along with Sugar Cube to create all my toppers.

I then added a scalloped border using a scalloped circle nestability. So easy!

Taylored Expressions Die Focus: Pockets & Pages May Script

2:21 PM 0 Comments

Hello! I wanted to share this fun gift set I made using some fabulous Taylored Expressions Dies! I started with the little bag using the Sack It To You Die and the new Sack It-Dress For Success Dies. The pieces were cut out of Oreo, Sugar Cube, and some Metallic Neutrals dp. I finished it off with the "Congrats" sentiment which was cut using the Pockets & Pages May Script Dies.

For my gift card holder, I used one of the Small Hinged Tins that you can find in the TE store. I used the Gift Card Frame Die and the Tin Topper Die to decorate the top, then added the Grad Cap and the sentiment using the May Script Dies once again. These dies make it so easy to whip up a nice gift set and they are so fun to play with! Hopefully I've inspired you to create your own:)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of your day!

Taylored Expressions April Pinterest Inspiration

10:00 AM 0 Comments

Hello! I wanted to share a card I made for this month's Taylored Expressions Pinterest Inspiration Project:) You can find so many inspiring projects in the TE Pinterest Boards HERE!

I used THIS fun card by Kim for my inspiration today. I used the fabulous Bistro Lights Cutting Plate to cut my strands of lights, and then cut out several colors of TE cardstock with the included circles and adhered them into place. I added some Stardust Stickles for a little sparkle. I then used the Up, Up, & Away Cutting Plate for the top layer. I cut it out of Toffee cs, and then cut the balloons out of Doodlebug Sunkissed dp. Finally, I decided to cut the strings out of some Poppy Seed cs. The sentiment is from the Rock My World stamp set. I love how these two cutting plates look together!

That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

Taylored Expressions April Release Day: Little Bits of Baby

10:00 AM 3 Comments

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions which means that all of the new products are available NOW in the TE Store!

I have one final project to share with you today. I made a couple of tags, one for a baby boy and one for a baby girl:) I used the Build a Tag 2 die set for the layers and the super sweet Little Bits-Onesie die for the onesies. The sentiments are from the new set Little Bits of Baby. I just love these sets because you can mix and match to create your own sentiments!

The base of the tags were cut out of the new TE Double the Joy dp and I embossed the white panels with the new Cable Knit Embossing Folder. Super sweet and so much fun to make!
